Plot

A comedy set in the ruins of post-war Warsaw. A young married couple moves in to a rented flat full of other lodgers, some of whom by misunderstanding start to believe there's a hidden treasure somewhere in the house.

A young married couple is waiting for their own Warsaw flat. Witek is a bus driver, Krysia is a shop assistant. They are staying temporarily at a rented apartment with other tenants. Two of them start looking for a treasure marked on Witek's map, being unaware that this "treasure" stands for his wife's future bedroom. This misunderstanding is a trigger for the ensuing treasure hunt.—GS
