In some episodes, the opening credits appear in unusual locations (e.g.: chicken eggs, towels, writing on walls, breakfast items, newspaper headlines). In other episodes, the characters - particularly Lisa - react to the appearance of the credits superimposed over them or next to them.
As the title song concludes, there is one more "Shave and a Hair Cut: Two Bits" riff without words, over the Douglases posed as Grant Wood's "American Gothic": Eddie Albert taps the ground twice with his pitchfork in sync with the last "Two bits" notes.
After the closing credits, the Filmways logo appears, and Eva Gabor's [off screen] voice is heard (in Lisa Douglas' character role in an English Park Avenue style accent) saying, "This has been a Filmways presentation, darling."
