A female fox is caught in a bear trap. Despite one hunter wanting to let the fox go, the other hunter shoots the fox in the back of the head twice, killing it. This wasn't special effects. They killed a live fox onscreen for this movie.

In a scene that may or may not be the protagonist's dream, she is bitten on the neck by a female vampire. No blood is visible.

A woman has a hysterical outburst and her husband gives her a few slaps. She later gets some tranquilizer shots from the doctor.

Mother face-slaps her 12-year old daughter.

A woman threatens her husband with a dagger. She accidentally cuts herself and is later shown with her hand in a bandage.

A woman sucks blood from the protagonist's injured palm and then bites her neck. Blood is shown in both cases.

Two women murder a man with a dagger. One of them covers his eyes and blood flows between her fingers. The women then chase the husband of one of them and threaten him with a dagger and a stone, but he escapes in a car.

The female protagonist opens a closet in a hotel room, where a man with a stocking on his head jumps out, throws a piece of cloth over her head and starts strangling her. He then rips off her clothes and appears to be about to rape her. But it turns out to be a hallucination of the woman.

Some alcohol drinking. One character gets some sort of sedating injection. No smoking.

While violent at parts, the film presents a gothic and mildly erotic atmosphere rather than a tone of intensity or pure terror.
