Susan leaves her husband and moves to L.A. to start a new life. After a brief stay with her rich sister Victoria, she gets a job at a health club and a new apartment.
Milt sends Susan and Coral to check out a new health club, which they soon discover caters to gay clientèle -- and Leonard's a member. To prove that he's straight, Leonard asks Susan for a date. Meanwhile, Victoria joins Milt's health club.

While attending a convention, Milt thinks that tycoon Shepard Samson wants to incorporate The Fountain of Youth into his chain, but Samson's really only interested in Susan.
Leonard and Susan write a screenplay about a mountain climber and garner interest from a producer who's put off by the thought of casting Leonard as the lead.
After Susan is set up by Victoria with a glass designer (Tom Selleck), she finds that she wants to be more than "just friends" with him. Meanwhile, Milt goes to a costume party dressed as a unicorn.
Victoria invites Susan and her friends to her second-annual 30th birthday luau. After fending off an obnoxious Indian, Susan finds herself being mauled by Victoria's drunken husband.
