Omar is surprised and pleased at the same time that Taylor is beginning to open up to their marriage. Taylor explains that she is still in love with Ridge despite her best attempts to forget about her old life. Yet, Taylor is determined to embrace her new life and therefore agrees to share a bedroom with Omar from now on. Meanwhile, James is snooping around at the royal palace to garner information which could confirm that Princess Laila is actually Taylor. James is caught by Ahmed who is delighted to lead the guest to the parlor for tonight's dinner party with the prince and his wife. In Los Angeles, the court hearing against Dylan takes a turbulent course. First, D.A. Emerson forces Jessica to testify that she had sexual intercourse with Dylan who was 20 while she was 17. Connor uses his turn for questioning to give Jessica the chance to express that this intimacy was deliberate and that they are merely a young couple in love. Anthony, Saul and Darla are then called to serve as character witnesses for Dylan. When Sally takes the stand, the district attorney accuses her of paying for Dylan's attorney fees as well as today's testimony merely because of her hatred towards the Forresters. Sally's testimony also reveals that she gave Dylan and Jessica her apartment for an intimate meeting even though he had already been indicted for having slept with a minor. Stephanie is outraged. Dylan shouts out that he and Jessica did not commit any crime by sleeping with each other. Connor is aghast about Dylan's spontaneous confession.

Sally and Anthony pay Macy a visit in the hospital to check on her after her surgery. Dr. Webb, the attending physician, delivers the reassuring news that no metastases have been found. To be on the safe side, Dr. Webb still wants to do radiotherapy, though. Macy is concerned about something else: Will she ever be able to sing again? Unfortunately, the doctor cannot give her an answer to this question, but he insists that Macy refrain from singing for the time being. She is naturally crushed. Thorne seeks advice from Brooke. He is desperate because Macy does not want to see him anymore. Brooke suggests that Thorne should follow his heart and ignore Macy's comments because she merely wants to keep her misery from him. In Casablanca, Ahmed introduces James aka. Brewster Mackenzie to Prince Omar. James can barely hide his disappointment that Princess Leila is missing out on dinner because she is with the children in the orphanage. Omar promises his biographer that he will eventually meet his wife.

Thorne pays Macy an unannounced visit at the hospital. She explains that the operation was successful and that she is now cancer-free. He confesses his everlasting love for her, which is not clouded by the fact that Macy may never be able to sing again. Eventually, Thorne asks Macy to become his wife again. Macy tearfully accepts his proposal. Meanwhile, Anthony gives Ivana an update on Macy's health and the news that her singing career is on hold for the time being. Ivana hopes this will give her an opportunity with Thorne, who needs to find a new partner. Anthony also believes that this will increase his chances with Macy. He wants to throw a big party for all her friends and family on the occasion of her release from the clinic. Stephanie is worried about Jessica, who has not spoken to her since the court hearing. To Ridge's surprise, Stephanie asks Brooke to talk to Jessie because she seems to be the only family member who has access to her. Brooke tries to calm Jessica down and give her courage for the future. Jessica is distraught because she expects Dylan to be convicted and sentenced to years in prison. She blames Stephanie and Eric for it.

In Casablanca, Taylor asks Omar for patience because she does not feel ready to move in with him at the royal suite after all. The Prince understands. Meanwhile, Ahmed entertains their visitor, the Scottish biographer Brewster Mackenzie, with belly dancers. James has a strong desire to meet Princess Laila. Omar appears and promises that his wife will be arriving shortly. Suddenly, Taylor walks into the room heavily veiled. As she stands in front of James, Taylor's eyes widen in shock: Will her dear friend recognize her? At the Forrester Mansion, Ridge and Stephanie wait impatiently whether Brooke will be able come through to Jessica. He also admits to his mother that he sometimes wonders if he let down Taylor's trust in him because he remarried rather quickly. Brooke returns from her conversation with Jessie full of optimism that she managed to calm Jessica down a bit. Later, Stephanie makes a shocking discovery: Jessica has packed her belongings and run away.

Dylan dreads the next day in court. His lawyer Connor can hardly give him hope that a conviction can still be averted. Stephanie informs Eric that Jessica is missing. Eric suspects that she is hiding at Sally's apartment. This hunch proves to be wrong, though. Jessica shows up at Dylan's college dorm and implores her lover to flee to Mexico with her. Prince Omar introduces James to his wife, Princess Laila. Taylor is totally shocked when she recognizes James. She does not lift her veil and remains rather tight-lipped in front of the alleged author. Back in her room, Taylor asks Omar to find another author for his biography. However, Omar has taken a liking on James and reiterates that the book project is a great opportunity for them as a couple. Elsewhere in the palace, James is desperate to find out the truth about the Princess and ponders his next move. Later, James sneaks into Laila's private chambers and asks her straight out if she is his dear friend Taylor.

Stephanie and Eric ask Brooke over to find out if she has any idea where Jessica could have run off to. Then, Lt. Conran arrives at the Forrester Mansion to report that a woman fitting Jessica's description was seen on campus at UCLA. Meanwhile, Dylan has given in to Jessica's plea to start a new life far away from Los Angeles. Enroute to Mexico, Jessica falls asleep. This prompts Dylan to turn around and bring his girlfriend back to the Forresters because, in his opinion, being fugitives will never give them a happy ending. Ridge is surprised to receive a phone call from Prince Omar who wants to give him an update on his marriage to Princess Laila. Elsewhere in the royal palace, Taylor is shocked to see James standing in her room. Princess Laila aka. Taylor orders the intruder to leave her private chambers immediately. However, James catches her off guard and removes the veil from her face. James is stunned that that his suspicions have not deceived him: Taylor is alive.

Anthony is thrilled that Ivana, Michelle and Coco agreed to host the party for Macy at their apartment on Melrose Avenue. In order to celebrate Macy's cure from cancer, the designer has invited various friends, acquaintances and the press. Sally tells Saul that she suspects that Anthony plans a surprise. Meanwhile, Thorne picks Macy up. They both would prefer to stay at home, yet they do not want to disappoint Anthony - and most importantly no one is aware of their engagement, yet. At the party, Ivana gives Thorne a red rose that she grew herself before he can share his big news with her. Anthony asks for silence and gives a short speech. In a shocking turn of events, Anthony sinks to his knees in front of Macy and proposes to her. At the Forrester Mansion, Stephanie, Eric and Brooke question Lt. Conran about the chances to track down the missing Jessica. On cue, Dylan shows up with a still sleeping Jessica. When she wakes up, Jessica is furious that Dylan brought her back to her family. He explains that he could not bear to picture a life for them in which they are on the run. In Casablanca, James is overjoyed that the presumed dead Taylor is actually very much alive. He is taken by disbelief that she has parted with her old life and does not want to return to L.A. with him as she considers herself Princess Laila of Morocco.

Stephanie is happy to meet with her dear friend Ruthanne Owens. Ruthanne reports that she is now working with runaway teenagers in San Diego. Stephanie seems affected by her recounts. Ridge informs Brooke that he received a call from Prince Omar who apparently has found his happily ever after with Princess Laila. James calls Connor to share the stunning news that Taylor is indeed alive, but wants him to leave. James, on the other hand, wants to stay in Casablanca and uncover the full story. At the party at Ivana's apartment, everyone - including the press - is anxiously waiting for Macy to accept Anthony's proposal. The lady in pursuit walks out to get some fresh air, though. In the courtyard, Macy confides in Sally that she is already engaged to someone else. Meanwhile, Darla, Saul, Keith and Kevin wonder why Macy is hesitant to become Anthony's wife. Macy returns to deliver a major disappointment to Anthony: she rejects his proposal and Thorne reveals that he is already engaged to Macy.

Now that Thorne and Macy are a happily engaged couple, Ivana and Anthony commiserate over being dumped and humiliated in the media Anthony is particularly disappointed because he really counted on a future with Macy. Ivana also feels betrayed by Thorne. At Forrester Creations, Thorne interrupts a business meeting of Brooke and Sheila to share his happy news. Thorne stresses that he and Macy want to get married soon. Later, Sheila informs Brooke that Eric agreed to stay with her until she had the chance to continue with her therapy sessions. Both women wonder why James disappeared all of a sudden and has not called in weeks. In Casablanca, Taylor unsuccessfully tries to persuade Prince Omar to find a new biographer. Her maid Yasemin is also confused why Laila seems so shaken by Brewster Mackenzie. Meanwhile, James continues his interview with Omar and fishes for information. The Prince recounts how he met his wife and explains that she suffers from amnesia and knows nothing about her past. This prompts James to make a beeline to see Taylor and confront her: either she will give him the full story on her wish to stay in Morocco or will inform the press of her fate to put an end to her secrecy.

Stephanie and Eric are deeply impressed that Dylan brought Jessica back last night instead of fleeing to Mexico with her. Jessica makes it clear that it was not her choice. Sally, Saul and Anthony arrive at the court house to show their moral support for Dylan who has to face the district attorney's closing arguments today. Connor hopes that the jury will not pass a quick verdict and consider his arguments as well. Later, in surprising turn of events, Stephanie asks to speak at the trial. She tells the jury what happened yesterday and asks that Dylan be given another chance. The judge reminds Stephanie and the jurors that an indictment for statutory rape has been passed and cannot be turned down that easily. In Casablanca, James is stunned that Taylor stresses that she does not have amnesia and is fully aware of her old life in Los Angeles. She tries to make him understand that she no longer has feelings for Ridge and is more than content with her life at Omar's side. Due to the children of the orphanage, she has never felt so needed. However, James does not believe her.

In a surprising turn of events, the jury acquits Dylan of the charges of seducing a minor. Sally, Anthony and Saul congratulate the defendant and commend Connor for his excellent defense. The lawyer reminds everyone that Dylan owes his acquittal largely to Stephanie's last testimony in court. In another part of the courtroom, Jessica, Stephanie and Eric reconcile: the teen apologizes for her behavior, and the two adults also admit to their own mistakes. Young lovers Dylan and Jessica decide to part way for the day to digest the news. In Casablanca, Taylor is curious to learn more about Ridge's life without her when James still refuses to leave her alone. James tells her that Ridge and Brooke are a happy family. Taylor claims to be very pleased about that because Brooke could give Ridge something that she never could: children. Taylor desperately tries to convince James that the marriage with Omar is giving her a similar gift: a lush life as a princess and probably a baby down the way soon. He has a hard time believing her story.

Ivana uses her charm to ask Ridge out on a lunch date to a fancy Sushi place. He realizes that she feels betrayed by Thorne. Ivana changes the topic to point out that she believes that Ridge marrying Brooke so quickly was not only motivated by love but also for business reasons. He denies these insinuations. Macy checks up on Anthony who is bitter that she rejected his marriage proposal in front of the press. He is blunt and stresses that he feels duped by her. Macy tries to convince Anthony that she is sorry to have hurt him, but their reunion happened very quickly and they were blindsided by love. Anthony remains furious and particularly blames Thorne for sticking a knife into his back by going after Macy. Eager to settle the animosity with her mother-in-law, Brooke visits Stephanie at the Forrester Mansion. Stephanie is reluctant to trust Brooke, but eventually warms up to her when she reveals her willingness to sell her shares in the company. Later, Stephanie talks to Ridge about Brooke's offer which would mean the world to Eric. She implores her son to speed up the process immediately.

Brooke and Sheila work on the new swim wear collection for the men's line. Sheila is stunned to learn that Brooke intends to return the majority stake in the company to the Forresters in order to have more time for her children and finally gain acceptance by Stephanie. Sheila advises Brooke to remain careful. Meanwhile, Stephanie implores Ridge to support Brooke in her plan to return the company shares. However, he does not want to put any pressure on his wife because it is her decision. In Casablanca, Taylor is obviously shaken by Brewster Mackenzie's presence and almost reveals the writer's real identity to Yasemin. Suddenly, Taylor gets an idea to on how to convince James that she is living her best life as Princess Laila. Omar has another interview session with his biographer when Taylor suddenly appears in a palanquin but without her veil. Later, James confronts Taylor in private over putting on a show. He thinks that she is lying to herself because - in reality - she is still in love with Ridge. Taylor asks James to leave immediately and not tell anyone about their encounter.

James calls Connor to inform him of his plans to return to Los Angeles. The lawyer is stunned that Taylor might not come back with him, though. Brooke is surprised to find Ridge at the Forrester Mansion wandering through the guest house where he used to live with Taylor. For some reason Ridge cannot forget his deceased wife. In Casablanca, Taylor ponders a return to L.A. - a decision which hangs on one question: she wonders if Ridge still misses her or has moved on with Brooke and the children. Omar is also confused because, apparently, Taylor has changed her mind yet again and is willing to move into his royal suite. Taylor's willingness to have dinner with him and his biographer, without wearing a veil no less, is yet another change of heart. Later, Taylor joins the belly dancers to put on an erotic show for Omar and James aka. Brewster Mackenzie to prove that she has found happiness in Morocco.

Stephanie unsuccessfully questions Sheila about the whereabouts of James who has been gone for weeks. Stephanie then gets an idea who could know more. She seeks out to Connor. Eric and Ridge are also curious about James' disappearance. Ridge then explains to his father that he is finally coming to terms with Taylor's death and that there is only one woman for him now: Brooke. In Casablanca, Omar asks Taylor is he read her behavior tonight correctly and whether she is ready to consummate their marriage. Without revealing that she put on a show to convince James that she has moved on with her life, Taylor rejects her devoted husband. Omar is crushed. Unnoticed by both of them, James has overheard the entire conversation. Later, James confronts Taylor and announces that he is taking her back to L.A. with him.

Macy and Thorne are thrilled to have found their way back to each other. After spending a cozy evening at home during which they discuss their wedding plans, Thorne makes up leeway and hands Macy an engagement ring. She is overjoyed. Later, Gordon Banks pays Thorne and Macy a visit to show them a recording of their Rotterdam concert. They have to break it to their stunned manager that they will never return to stage because Macy's vocal chords were damaged by the cancer treatment. Stephanie wants to know from Connor where James is. Connor remains secretive, even though he knows exactly where his friend is. Stephanie suspects that James could be following up on his crazy hunch and look for Taylor. In Casablanca, James asks Taylor what is keeping her from coming home. She tries to make him understand that she cannot return to L.A. and cause havoc because she loves Ridge and does not want to ruin his happy family life with Brooke and the children.

Connor lets James know that people in L.A. begin to wonder about his disappearance. Omar wonders if having a biographer living at the palace was a bad idea because of Taylor's erratic behavior. On cue, James aka. Brewster Mackenzie walks into the room to announce that he will be leaving Morocco shortly. Omar thanks the writer for his services and bows out. James uses the opportunity to beg Taylor one more time to join him on flight back to the United States. He senses that she is not happy in Omar's palace. She is torn. In Los Angeles, Brooke seeks out Connor and asks him to prepare a transfer of her company stock to the Forresters. Connor tries to talk her out of this plan, but she is determined to go through with it. Sheila learns that Stephanie is planning a family celebration for Ridge's birthday, a party to which she is not invited. Stephanie stresses that Sheila is no longer part of her clan because the divorce is imminent as soon as James is back. Sheila reminds Stephanie that she and Eric have not talked about getting divorced in weeks.

James receives word from Yasemin that Taylor will not come back to L.A. with him. He has a heated argument with the servant and stresses that Taylor misses her old life and family. Later, Yasemin delivers a message from James to Taylor in which he implores her to change her mind and join him on the flight home. Taylor is still torn to stay and give up on Ridge for good. In Los Angeles, Ivana informs Anthony that Jessica invited her to a Forrester family affair which she intends to use to underline that she has not given up on Thorne just yet. With help of her trusted maid Maria, Stephanie has planned a surprise birthday party for Ridge. The guest of honor is thrilled to celebrate his special day with his family around the swimming pool at the Forrester Mansion. Macy and Thorne are surprised by Ivana's appearance in a sexy bikini. Stephanie and Eric are dismayed when Sheila shows up uninvited and cozies up with Brooke. Suddenly, Stephanie gets a phone call from Cedars Hospital: Jack Hamilton had a heart attack and is fighting for his life.

Upon his return to L.A., Connor pays James a visit. The lawyer is stunned that his friend did not bring Taylor with him. James explains that Taylor has apparently decided to stay in Morocco - and that they must honor her decision and not tell anyone that she is still alive. Connor worries about Brooke who is willing to give up on her Forrester stock, though. Meanwhile, Brooke and Ridge decide to have another child together as their love seems unshakable. At the Forrester Mansion, Stephanie informs Eric that Jack suffered a heart attack. They have trouble believing that yet another tragedy is hitting the Hamilton family so soon after Taylor's death. Later, Stephanie confronts James over disappearing in the middle of his therapy sessions with Sheila. She is confused why he remains mysterious and will not divulge his reasons for leaving town. She bluntly accuses him of trying to find a dead woman: Taylor. On a side note; James learns that Jack has been hospitalized and is fighting for his life.

Sally tells Darla that she is extremely pleased with Dylan's work. Out of a sudden, Sally finds a photo of Jack Hamilton who she once was involved with in a whirlwind romance. She wonders what her old flame is up to these days. Meanwhile, James learns from Stephanie that Taylor's father was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack at the cemetery where his daughter is allegedly buried. Unfortunately, Stephanie was unable to contact his last remaining relative, his son Zach. James inquires with Dr. Herbert at Cedars who explains that Jack's condition is grave and without a family member present it is unlikely that he will pull through. Dylan and Jessica meet at Insomnia and talk about their plans for the future. They want to continue their relationship, but take things slow this time around.

James is still at Cedars Hospital where Jack is fighting for his life. Pangs of conscience eventually persuade James to call Taylor in Morocco and make her aware of her father's fate. Taylor, who tries to come to terms that she finally cut all ties to her old life, instructs Ahmed to reject any call from Brewster Mackenzie. James does not give up that easily and eventually gets Taylor on the phone. When James informs her about Jack's heart attack, she is shocked. Will she return to L.A.? Sheila is frantic after learning that James is back in Los Angeles. Mike agrees with her that the good doctor will get in touch with Lauren Fenmore shortly which will lead to her past being exposed. Sheila realizes that she has to get active: She calls Lauren to remind her nemesis of her promise to the late Scott not to tell anyone about their story. Lauren huffs and leaves it open whether she feels bound to secrecy. Sheila realizes that her whole world could be crushing down soon.

Brooke shares with Donna that she is still hoping after all those years to be able to mend her strained relationship with Stephanie. Meanwhile, Stephanie reveals to Eric that she is only willing to compromise with Brooke because she wants to get Forrester Creations back into the hands of the family. Remaining a loyal supporter of his ex despite the BeLieF battle and a bitter break-up, Eric cautions Stephanie not to put too much pressure on this hidden agenda. Stephanie then invites Brooke over for dinner. Brooke is very pleased that the tense situation between them finally seems to be easing. James fills Connor in on Jack Hamilton's heart attack. The men wonder if this will cause Taylor to return home. James fears that Prince Omar might not let her go. In Casablanca, Taylor concocts a story about her going to Tangier on an important conference. Omar and Yasemin are surprised about Taylor's sudden decision to make her first public appearance as Princess Laila on her own. Omar lets his wife leave in good faith. Little does he know that she is taking the next flight to Los Angeles.

Music Manager Gordon would like to sign Thorne to a solo contract with Decadent Records. Thorne refuses because he wants to be considerate of his fiancée, though. Macy, who overhears the conversation, then tries to convince Thorne that he cannot throw away his talent just because her dream of a singing career has ended. Stephanie and Eric visit Jack at Cedars. They learn that surgery in which Jack got a quadruple bypass went well. However, Dr. Herbert warns them that Jack's condition remains serious and he might not survive. Eric and Stephanie worry that his daughter's death was too much for the widower. On the flight to L.A., Taylor surprises her seatmate when she changes her wardrobe from classic Arabian to fully western style. After landing, Taylor - who is nervous about coming home after so many months away - immediately goes to see her father at the hospital where she almost runs into her former in-laws. Taylor then sneaks into Jack's room and is deeply shocked by his condition.

Sally is stunned when Anthony asks her out of the blue to reward him with shares in Spectra Fashions for his achievements in saving the company from ruin. However, Sally refuses and merely offers him a salary increase. Anthony leaves in a huff to complain to Ivana about Sally's brusque rejection. Ivana is surprised that Anthony pinpoints all his misfortunes on Thorne who by stealing Macy from him, also ended his dream to become a business partner in the family business. Meanwhile, Saul informs Sally that Jack had heart attack. At Cedars Hospital, Taylor sits by her comatose father's bed in despair. She prays to God that he will survive. When he finally awakes for a brief moment, Jack cannot believe that his daughter, who he thought was dead, is sitting next to him. Tears of joy are running down Taylor's face. Brooke's dinner with Stephanie reveals some obvious differences of personality. Even though Stephanie tries to reassure Brooke that she wants to get to know her better because she is a family member and not just because she owns stock in Forrester Creations, the women still have a tough time to find common grounds.

Brooke and Stephanie try to come to terms with each other, yet it is obvious that they have a long way to go. Stephanie is still bitter that Brooke made Eric divorce from her, even though she gives her nemesis credit to have become a good mother and business woman. Brooke correctly deduces that Stephanie will only accept her as a family member if she puts the reins of Forrester Creations back into her and Eric's hands. Naturally, Brooke asks for time to consider the circumstances. Eric confronts James over disappearing in the middle of therapy with Sheila without giving him a notice. Eric makes it clear to James - who remains vague about his reasons for leaving - that he wants out of his marriage as soon as possible. At Cedars, Sally and Saul want to visit Jack. The nurse explains to them that the patient is too weak to have visitors. Suddenly, Taylor leaves the hospital room, slightly disguised in a headscarf and sunglasses. An argument ensues in the hallway. Luckily, Sally does not recognize Taylor. To avoid an accidental discovery, the presumed dead Taylor makes an appointment at a beauty salon to have her appearance changed.

Taylor, who is staying at her father's apartment, has makeup artist Gladys Pope come over and don her a disguise. The beautician is confused why her client wants an average and unassuming look to make her blend in and remain unrecognized in Los Angeles. Stephanie worries about Jack who is still fighting for his life. Eric tries to comfort her. At Spectra Fashions, Macy tells her mother that she could not be happier than to remarry Thorne soon because he almost gave up on singing for her sake. Sally is delighted and suggests to Macy to make Thorne a partner in the company. Unnoticed by both women, a furious Anthony overhears this conversation. Meanwhile, Ivana explains to Thorne that she cannot forget about him and is unwilling to give up that easily. She aggressively tries to seduce him. Suddenly, Trish walks into the office and catches Thorne and Ivana in a compromising position.

Thorne is very upset about Ivana's act of seduction. He threatens to fire her if she ever makes such unsolicited advances to him again. While Thorne leaves to set the record straight with secretary Trish who walked on in this scene, Ivana is greeted by Anthony at her apartment who is eager to vent about Sally's betrayal. Ivana decides to get her hatred towards Macy from her chest by writing a "fan letter" to Thorne's fiancée. James visits Sheila and tries to persuade her to resume their interrupted therapy. When she is unwilling, he reveals that he spoke to her husband earlier. James stresses to Sheila that the end of their sessions will likely mark the end of her marriage. Brooke insists that Ridge remove a photo of Taylor that is still on his desk at his office. He had no idea that his wife is having issues with it and obliges. Stephanie visits Jack at the hospital who has come out of his coma. He tells her that Taylor was with him. Stephanie tries to convince him that he was hallucinating.

Taylor's new look is put to the test when James and Connor take a seat right next to her at Insomnia café and fail to recognize her. James and Connor wonder why Taylor did not come home to L.A. to support her ailing father. As Taylor wants to leave, she realizes that she forgot her wallet. The waitress insists that Taylor pay immediately. James overhears the scene and disburses the money. At that moment, Taylor reveals herself to him. James is overjoyed and immediately pressures Taylor let Ridge that she is alive. Jessica visits Macy who is still having a hard time coming to terms that she has lost her singing voice. Jessie is surprised at how much fan mail Macy gets and offers to help her with processing the letters. When the conversation turns to Ivana, Jessica warns Macy not to trust the model. Meanwhile, Ivana hatches a nefarious plan with Anthony. She plans to scare Macy with a vicious letter to cause havoc in her and Thorne's relationship. Anthony offers Ivana inspiration who is eager to put her old typewriter to use.

Sheila talks to Brooke about her marriage. She envies Brooke's good relationship with Ridge and complains about Eric. Brooke advises her to tell Eric about her past. However, Sheila believes that Stephanie is the actual source of her marital problems. James is curious how Taylor managed to escape from Morocco. She makes it clear that she plans on returning to her new life eventually. Dr. Herbert informs Jack that his vitals have improved tremendously, even though there is still a long way to go for his recovery. Jack explains to his doctor that an angel appeared to him, his deceased daughter Taylor... Later, Taylor visits Jack at Cedars again. At first, Jack thinks that he is hallucinating. Taylor can only slowly convince her father that she is very much real and alive. Jack is over the moon and begs her to never to leave him again. In Casablanca, Omar finds out from Moustafa that Taylor lied about going to Tangier for a summit. The Prince confronts Yasemin and finds out that his wife is in Los Angeles. He is devastated.

Darla is amazed at how much fan mail Macy is receiving. Macy explains that she is always in awe about the love and support express to her in those letters. Suddenly, Darla finds a mailing with a very different almost threatening tone by a certain "IRV". Macy is very worried. Meanwhile, Dylan runs into Ivana at Insomnia who is in a very somber mood. Jack learns from Taylor that she has not contacted Ridge yet and does not intend to let him know that she alive. He is extremely confused by all of this. Taylor just remarks to Jack that she will explain to him everything eventually. In Casablanca, Yasemin tries to reassure Prince Omar that his wife did not return to L.A. see Ridge Forrester but to care for her sick father. Omar and Ahmet wonder how Taylor was informed about this. Suddenly, Taylor calls and immediately reveals her whereabouts to her husband. Omar pleads with Taylor to not contact Ridge under any circumstances.

At Spectra Fashions, Sally offers Anthony a significant raise. In the hallway, Ivana runs into Darla and claims that she is over her grudge with Macy. Ivana then learns from Darla that Macy received a threatening letter from an alleged fan and got a big shock. Later, Ivana is very disappointed that Anthony accepted Sally's offer and has given up on his desire to become a business partner in the company. Anthony on the other hand is not at all enthusiastic about Ivana's childish measures to drive a wedge between Macy and Thorne by writing mean fan mail. Ridge shares with Thorne that their mother is eager to bury the hatchet with his wife. Thorne can hardly believe that Stephanie wants to make peace with Brooke. Stephanie makes a sincere effort to get know Brooke better and therefore spends some time with her at the lab. Brooke definitely appreciates this gesture and invites Stephanie over for dinner at her house soon. Finally, Ridge reveals to Brooke that he would love to have another child with her.

Taylor wants to stay in L.A. until her father has recovered. Make-up-artist Gladys Pope is curious why her beautiful client is hiding from the world and only leaves her apartment in disguise. Taylor remains secretive, but reveals that she hiding from her previous husband who considers her dead and has remarried. Gladys deduces that Taylor is not over him which she denies. Later, Taylor finds out that Ridge and Brooke will be teaching a fashion seminar tomorrow. She is tempted to attend the event. Meanwhile, Ridge and Brooke try to conceive another child. At Spectra Fashions, Anthony suggests to Ivana to go out on a double date with Macy and Thorne because they have grown so close recently. Ivana is touched by Anthony's suggestion to try their luck as a couple. Thorne and Macy are stunned to receive the invitation from Anthony and Ivana. Before they leave for the restaurant, Macy wants to work on her fan mail. To her horror, she discovers another fan letter in which she is massively threatened. Thorne is equally confounded.

Jessica informs Ridge that his and Brooke's upcoming fashion seminar is the talk of town on Dylan's campus. She is very excited about being a part of this event. Katie and Donna are impressed with Brooke's new ease in her personal life as Ridge's wife as well as her latest promising research results in the lab at Forrester Creations. For some reason however, Brooke has a strange feeling that something crucial is about to happen at the seminar. After feverishly discussion the menacing fan mail, Thorne and Macy join Anthony and Ivana at Taxi Bar for dinner. The evening is going rather well - with Anthony revealing that he and Ivana did not only overcome their grudge but have been grown closer as a result - until Macy lets it slip that she has been receiving rather shocking mail. Ivana and Anthony are both stunned when Thorne explains that Macy received yet another threatening letter today from the mysterious "IRV". As Macy and Thorne leave for the dance floor, Anthony makes serious accusations against Ivana for authoring another message. She denies any involvement and leaves angrily.

Eric informs an unsuspecting Ridge that his former father-in-law has been hospitalized. Meanwhile, Sally and Darla pay Jack a visit at Cedars to check up on him. Jack then receives a visit from Taylor. He wants to know where she has been all those months and why she continues to hide. Taylor makes it clear that her return has to stay a secret and one person in particular must never know that she is still alive. On cue, yet another visitor arrives at the hospital: Ridge. Taylor quickly conceals herself. After confiding her misery in Mike, Sheila reluctantly goes to James to restart therapy. The psychiatrist tries to ease his patient's concern that he wants to do her harm. In tears, Sheila voices that she desperately wants to save her marriage to Eric. James encourages her to finally be honest with him and open up about her past which might be the key for her to overcome her daemons. A vulnerable Sheila seems willing to cooperate - until James brings up the name Lauren Fenmore.

Brooke is confused why Connor adamantly advises her to keep her shares in Forrester Creations. She is convinced that nothing can ever shake up her marriage, especially now that she and her husband have decided to have another baby. At Cedars Hospital, Taylor secretly listens in on Ridge's conversation with Jack. Afterwards, Taylor is completely upset. Jack cannot understand why she did not reveal herself to him. He advises his daughter to attend Ridge and Brooke's fashion seminar so that she can be near him for a day. In therapy, Sheila inquires with James about the boundaries of doctor-patient-confidentiality. When he makes it clear that for instance knowledge of certain crimes might make it necessary for him to talk to the authorities, she quickly pulls up her guards and ends the session immediately. As a consequence, James wants to inform Eric and make inquiries with Lauren Fenmore.

Mike is confused why Sheila is panicky that James might talk to Lauren. Finally, Sheila comes clean to Mike about her history in Genoa City and how she stole Lauren's baby. She also recounts how her mother, who wanted to expose her, suffered a stroke. Sheila then begins to reach the dramatic climax of her story that involves the farmhouse fire just before her escape to Los Angeles. Gladys arrives for a social call at Taylor's apartment because the hairdresser has a hunch that proves to be correct: Taylor is the presumed dead wife of Ridge Forrester. Gladys urges Taylor to contact Ridge to let him know that she is alive. At Forrester Creations, Jessica and Thorne inform Ridge and Brooke that their seminar is drawing a big crowd. Just before things get started, Ridge tells Brooke about his visit with Jack. Brooke is equally surprised to hear that his former father-in-law turned down the offer to live with them upon his release from the hospital. Meanwhile, Macy is terrified when she receives more hate mail. She calls the police despite Anthony's protests.

Sheila continues to recount her backstory in Genoa City to Mike. She explains how her feud with Lauren escalated in a fire - leaving her perished in flames, so it seemed. Mike is stunned that no one but her mother Molly and Lauren know that she is still alive. Sheila depicts to Mike that Eric has given her stability and love that she was always been craving. Therefore, she cannot allow James to ruin that by talking to Lauren. Makeup artist Gladys is still in disbelief that Taylor does not want to reclaim her old life and forget about her past with Ridge even though she is still obviously in love him. Upon repeated urging, Taylor agrees to attend Brooke and Ridge's fashion seminar to be close to him and then to decide whether to give up on him forever. Later, Jessica and Thorne assist in the big event at Forrester Creations where Taylor sneaks in under the alias of Carol Roberts.

Taylor immediately regrets her decision to attend the fashion seminar when Ridge and Brooke start by asking the attendants about their motivation for coming. Taylor is extremely nervous when Ridge addresses her - apparently without recognizing her thanks to her disguise and fake accent. Later, Taylor has a crying fit. Jessica, who is charge of the organizational aspects of the event, takes care of her. Taylor is shocked to learn that Jessica is Eric's niece. Sheila confides in Eric that she feels that she has failed him in their relationship. Suddenly, Eric awakes from his daydream and reassures himself that there is no saving for marriage. Macy and Thorne talk with the police about the hate mail. The two detectives do not take the letters too seriously. However, Thorne is very worried. Anthony makes a beeline to talk to Ivana and orders her to stop writing threatening letters to Macy immediately. A confused Ivana claims that she is no longer writing these. Anthony has trouble believing her, but eventually comes around to trust her.

Jessica gives a disguised fashion seminar attendant Carol Roberts aka. Taylor a tour of Forrester Creations and is surprised that her guest knows quite a lot about the company. Taylor is devastated when they walk in on Ridge and Brooke kissing at the lab. Later, Ridge and Brooke do not realize they are leaning against one of the laboratory instruments and changing the setting from 700 degrees to 999 degrees Fahrenheit for the experiment. James informs Connor that Taylor has returned to Los Angeles. Connor urges James to make Taylor reveal herself to Ridge before Brooke signs her stock over to the Forresters. James thinks that Taylor has every right to choose the timing and defends her. However, James then decides to pay Jack a visit to find out more about his friend's motivations in regards to Ridge.

Dylan spots Sly at the Insomnia Café. Sly expresses to Dylan how bitter he is that Macy stopped going to the Bikini. Dylan is shocked to find out that Sly's real name is Irving, the same as that of the hate letter writer. Questioned why he and Macy changed the wedding date, Thorne admits to Sally and Darla that Macy has been receiving more hate mail. As Anthony walks in, Thorne asks the designer to be his best man. Stephanie explains to Eric why Brooke's decision to relinquish her shares of the company is making her reconsider her opinion of her longtime nemesis. When Eric brings up his conversation with Sheila from yesterday, Stephanie cautions Eric about trying to save his marriage to Sheila, but gives him her support. After having a family breakfast at home, Ridge steps in for Brooke at the lab to take care of the experiment. Ridge does not notice that the BeLieF fabric is starting to boil over in the Climatron until it is too late: a chemical explosion ignites and throws Ridge backwards.

Taylor visits her father and is happy to see that he is making progress on his recovery. Jack then informs his daughter that he received a parcel from Morocco. It contains drawings from the children of the orphanage which prompts Taylor to reveal her lingering motivation for wanting to return to Casablanca. Taylor remains secretive on details of her Moroccan life, though. Jack insists that Taylor reveal herself to Ridge before she leaves Los Angeles again because she cannot ignore her true feelings forever. At Forrester Creations, Brooke discovers a gift from Ridge on her desk and Jessica marvels at their perfect marriage. Mike and some co-workers discover a seriously injured Ridge at the lab. Ridge is in critical condition: he has suffered chemical burns and shows little pulse. On the way to Cedars, Ridge flatlines so that the paramedics have to perform CPR. Brooke is panicked that her husband may not survive.

Sheila explains to Mike that she finally found a way to get through to Lauren and prevent her from talking to Eric about her past. Little does she know that Lauren is on the way to Los Angeles from Genoa City as they speak. Miss Fenmore promises herself to expose Sheila once and for all. Meanwhile, James is anxious to meet with Lauren to find out the full story on Sheila. He assures Stephanie that it looks like Eric's marriage will soon be over. After learning from Trish about the incident at the lab, Eric rushes to Cedars. At the hospital, Dr. Madigan breaks it to Brooke and Eric that Ridge is still unconscious. The doctor is concerned that his patient has suffered severe chemical burns and might have interior injuries that he is not aware yet. That is why Broke and Eric are extremely relieved when Ridge regains consciousness and seems to be his self.

Eric gives Lauren a private showing of one of the latest Forrester designs. Sheila is horrified to see Lauren in L.A. because their recent talk in Genoa City apparently did not have the assumed results. Lauren further taunts Sheila by announcing that she will be staying with her and Eric in Holmby Hills while in town - and is anxious to have a talk with Dr. Warwick. The parcel from Morocco has not missed its mark: Taylor calls Omar in Casablanca. He reminds his beloved princess that he loves her and urges her to return home soon. Taylor is moved when Dracina, one of the children from the orphanage, gets on the phone and explains that she misses her. Later, Jack tries to convince Taylor that her life is really in Los Angeles and that she should reveal herself to Ridge. Elsewhere at Cedars, Brooke is thrilled that Ridge is already making jokes about his bandaged face. Jessica who is shaken that Ridge suffered this dramatic accident at the lab pays her cousin a visit. On her way out, Jessica runs into Carol Roberts aka. Taylor. Taylor is stunned to hear from her that Ridge is in the hospital and almost died from an explosion.

Lauren gives her friend Brad a call in Genoa City. She has decided that she will not tell Eric about Sheila's past if she comes to the conclusion that he is happy with Sheila, but will reveal everything to Dr. Warwick if their relationship is already in trouble. Meanwhile, Sheila asks Eric to show their marriage in the best light for their house guest. During diner, Sheila puts on a convincing act and Lauren begins to believe Sheila and Eric live in marital bliss. After finding out from Jessica that Ridge was in a serious accident, Taylor goes back to her father's room to announce that she wants to see Ridge. Jack warns Taylor that Ridge might recognize her - even if his eyes are bandaged right now. In another room at Cedars, Ridge tries to be positive and explains to Stephanie that he hopes to be fine again soon. Later, Ridge receives a surprise visit from a woman with an English accent who manages to put a smile on his face: Taylor.

Sheila reminds Lauren of her late husband Scott's dying wish and the fact that she could ruin her happy marriage to Eric if she was to talk to Dr. Warwick about their past. Later, Stephanie taunts Sheila about Lauren's presence in town. Lauren meets with James who describes to her why Sheila agreed to couple's therapy. James explains to Lauren that he thinks she holds the key to unraveling Sheila's mysteries as they apparently share a disturbing history. Despite her feelings about Mrs. Carter, Lauren tells James that she is unsure about revealing Sheila's story in Genoa City after last night's dinner party. At Spectra Fashions, Macy, Thorne and Sally are stunned when the police suggest that the author of the threatening fan mail could live in L.A. and be someone that they know. Det. Lewis and Det. Cooper remind them that their former lovers Anthony or Ivana could be authoring these letters. Thorne and Macy shut down this idea immediately. Suddenly, Dylan walks into the office and informs them about his recent encounter with Sly who seems to hold a grudge against Macy. Anthony is surprised to see Ivana. He claims to have spoken to a shrink about his concern that she might still be sending Macy hate mail out of pathological jealousy. Ivana vehemently protests that she is innocent and stresses that she only wrote one letter and now regrets it.

Taylor visits Ridge, who is still blinded by his eye bandage, in the hospital to secretly say goodbye to him because she wants to return to Morocco. She presents herself to Ridge as a volunteer who takes care of patients at Cedars. Stephanie pressures Lauren to finally tell Eric the truth about Sheila. Lauren is still hesitant in light of the striking closeness and happiness that she has experienced between the married couple while she has been staying with them. Eventually, Lauren decides to interrogate Eric in a private conversation before making her decision. Meanwhile, Sheila panics that Lauren might be blowing her cover over her not-too-stellar past in Genoa City. Mike tries to convince Sheila to leave L.A. with him. He fosters her fear that her crimes are about to be exposed. Sheila refuses to give up on her life with Eric without a fight, though. Eric and Thorne show Brooke the accident report on the lab. She wonders if she is to blame for the explosion that injured Ridge. Later, Brooke and Thorne gather around Ridge as his blindfold is removed. To everyone's shock: Ridge still cannot see anything - he is blind.

Eric leaves Forrester Creations in the middle of the day and tells Trish to keep quiet about his meeting with Lauren. Mike witnesses the scene and therefore informs Sheila who is concerned about her husband's sudden departure from work. At the hospital, Ridge is worried when he discovers that he cannot see anything. Dr. Madigan immediately consults Dr. Kingsley, an eye specialist, who cannot give the patient, Brooke or Thorne any clue on what is causing this unexpected loss of eyesight or if it is permanent. James and Stephanie argue whether Sheila and Eric's marriage is salvageable. Meanwhile in Holmby Hills, Eric admits to Lauren that he and Sheila have not been completely honest with her these past few days. He further elaborates that he is unhappy because he senses that Sheila is not honest with him about her past. Lauren now feels the obligation to give Eric the full story on Sheila that she has kept from him for all these years.

Mike informs a shocked Sheila that Eric is speaking to her arch-nemesis right now. In Holmby Hills, Eric is confused to find out that Lauren does apparently have a history with his wife - and never told him about it before. Lauren prepares to share the full extent of her past with Sheila. Eric interrupts her and proposes that she should talk about it with James first because he does not want to get between a personal feud brewing for years. Sheila overhears this. Later, Sheila lets Lauren know that there is no way that she is allowing her to meet with James. To thank her for giving Thorne the nudge to reunite with her, Macy asks Brooke to be her matron of honor, but her future sister-in-law is too worried about Ridge and turns her down. At Cedars, Jack explains to Taylor that he is about to be released from the hospital. He thanks his daughter for giving him a reason to fight for his survival - and suggests that she could give Ridge the same boost. Pandemonium breaks lose when a blind Ridge trips in his room and can be barely calmed by the hospital staff. Taylor rushes in to help him. Ridge is soothed by her voice.

Sheila wants to stop Lauren from talking to Dr. Warwick. At first, Sheila issues a heartfelt plea by expressing her love for Eric, but when this does not catch on with Lauren, Sheila switches to threats. A cat-fight ensues which culminates in Sheila trying to drown Lauren in the jacuzzi. Sheila experiences a sense of relief when her nemesis is no longer moving: Lauren is dead. Meanwhile, James is paid a visit by Connor while waiting for Lauren. Eric fills Stephanie in on the little tidbit of Sheila's previous marriage to Scott Grainger which he just learned from Lauren. He explains to Stephanie that his trust in his wife is shattered and that he is going to file for divorce. Stephanie is glad that Eric is finally seeing Sheila for who she really is. In the hospital, Ridge continues his conversation with the gentle stranger not knowing that it is former wife, Taylor. She encourages him to swallow up his pride and accept help from others to cope with his new condition as a blind person. Taylor is thrilled when Ridge mentions that she seems familiar to him.

Sheila, thinking Lauren is dead, calls Mike to help her dispose of Lauren's body. In a shocking turn of events, the jacuzzi is suddenly empty. Seconds later a very much alive Lauren is standing in front of Sheila. A puzzled Sheila claims that they both got carried away and acted irresponsibly. Lauren knocks Sheila out with a vase and then makes a beeline to see Dr. Warwick. Upon her father's release from the hospital, Jack and Taylor get settled into his apartment as roommates. He continues to push her to reveal herself to Ridge. At Cedars, Ridge informs Brooke about the wonderful volunteer who helped him when he fell down. She is surprised that he does not even know her name yet. Brooke comes clean to Ridge that she is likely to blame for his accident - and him becoming blind as a result. James is stunned when a still wet Lauren walks into his office. She explains that Sheila just tried to kill her, but she was fortunate enough to get air from the jets in the whirlpool. Lauren therefore announces that she is going to tell James everything about Sheila. Meanwhile, Mike finds a wounded Sheila, who tells him they must stop Lauren before she talks to James.
