Originally aired on Dutch tv in 1988 and have 100 episodes in 7 seasons. It was set in a real hospital on the 4th floor wich wasn't in use.
Every episode dealt with a certain issue or case were a patient and his or her family being involved. The affairs of the staff were smeared out along the seasons. Nowadays it has a outdated feel to it as the nurses wear dresses and mobile phones were not yet in use. But the treatments and cures are still actual as are the ails and problems of the patients.
