Originally put up for pre-order late last year, the official A Nightmare on Elm Street energy drink formula from G Fuel is now available for purchase from GFuel.com, and the company has celebrated with a killer promo video for the product that pays tribute to the franchise.
G Fuel honors the blood-spattered legacy of horror icon Freddy Krueger with its new commercial for G Fuel Dream Demon, a Tart Fruit Punch flavor now available for purchase as a 40-serving Tub and a limited-edition Collector’s Box, which also includes a 24 oz G Fuel x A Nightmare on Elm Street Stainless Steel Shaker Cup.
The new spot depicts several key scenes and moments from the franchise, including the infamous “bed geyser” from the original film, the protective Rex from Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, and a nod to one of Freddy’s most iconic lines from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.

You can add The Beekeeper to the long list of action movies named for the jobs their protagonist took up after laying down their weapons and trying to live a peaceful life: The Gardener, The Painter, The Bricklayer… etc, etc. Actually Adam Clay always was a beekeeper, that was the name of the elite unit he was a part of before he retired to actually raise bees. He does this on a farm owned by Eloise Parker somewhere in a very confused part of England that wants us to believe it’s actually Western Massachusetts.
Eloise, who is supposed to be a retired teacher and should know better, falls for one of those computer scams that says you have a virus and to call this number to have it removed.

For this week’s home media offerings, we have only a few titles on tap for genre fans, as there are only five different titles making their way home on Tuesday. Arrow Video is showing some love to the underappreciated Dream Demon with their new Blu, and Scream Factory is resurrecting The Spider (1958) as well. If you’re into classic horror in three dimensions, you’ll definitely want to pick up the 3D Blu for House of Wax (1953) and two indie horror flicks are arriving on DVD this week as well: Wood Witch and The Haunted.

A young bride-to-be s anxieties over her upcoming wedding take on a horrifying, demonic form in this underseen 1988 rubber reality shocker from director/co-writer Harley Cokeliss (Black Moon Rising), starring Timothy Spall and Jemma Redgrave.
As her marriage to decorated war hero Oliver draws near, well-heeled Diana moves into her sprawling new London home where she starts to experience strange and terrifying nightmares. But are these blood-curdling night terrors merely the symptom of an unsettled mind, or the sign of something far sinister at work? Hounded by a pair of sleazy journalists (Timothy Spall and Jimmy Nail), Diana soon crosses paths with American tourist Jenny, who appears to have a strange connection to the foreboding house and its sinister past.

Horror Channel FrightFest takes place in London this weekend. Here's our pick of films to look out for...
Summer’s almost over and what better way to welcome in the spooky season than by hiding from the heat in a darkened room, with five days of wall-to-wall horror? Yep, it’s August Bank Holiday and that means the 18th annual London Horror Channel FrightFest is upon us. For some, this is a familiar pilgrimage. Veterans will be used to bloodshot eyes, numbness in the spine, a lack of nutrition and an acute anxiousness every time there’s a loud noise. For others, it may be their first visit and these are things to look forward to. Either way, FrightFest promises probably the biggest, purest, uncut dose of horror you can endure without going insane, complete with special guests, world premieres, live events and at least a couple of parties.

Wes Craven’s original Dream Demon is heading back to the silver screen once more, as New Line Cinema is engineering a new take on A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Seemingly unperturbed by the reception of the middling 2010 reboot – which failed to impress critically or financially – we understand that New Line, “the house that built Freddy,” is keen on bringing the screen icon back for another scarefest. With David Leslie Johnson attached to write the script, studio executives Toby Emmerich, Walter Hamada and Dave Neustadter will oversee the nascent reboot.
That was the last real update we got on the project and it arrived back in August of 2015. It’s been two years then since any news about the film has emerged and understandably, some fans are starting to get worried that it’s slipped into development hell. Thankfully, that doesn’t appear to be the case, as Bloody-Disgusting reported...

It's impressively bad. But it's still impressive. Keith Chegwin's Kill Keith is a better representation of British horror than any glossy Radcliffe drama
Ever since The Woman in Black became the most successful British horror film of all time, it's become apparent what the next few years of British horror will have in store. There'll be period costumes. There'll be stately atmospherics. There'll be long periods of hardly anything happening that are suddenly punctuated by a noise or a chair or a bird or whatever. But that's not what British horror is all about.
British horror isn't about Daniel Radcliffe looking glum. It's cheap. It's trashy. You can see the seams. And it barely cares. In fact, there's an argument to say that the bizarre low-budget Keith Chegwin vehicle Kill Keith (out on DVD next week) is far more representative of the British horror scene than The Woman in Black will ever be.

A Nightmare On Elm Street is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. It has everything a genre fan could want. A sadistic badass who spews venom and one-liners the likes we had never seen, knives for fingers and terror inducing dreams. What more could a fan ask for? Wes Craven got it right and Robert Englund portraying the "Dream Demon" would prove, not just the world of horror, but to mainstream fans that horror was alive and relevant. I…...

Well it's been a very long time since I've posted any work here sadly. Largely in part due to me not getting much time to work on my own sculpts because of prior painting commitments for customers. At last here is my latest sculpt based on the "Part 3" version of everyone's favorite Dream Demon. He will be fully 1:1 scale and will be cast in translucent and a standard resin versions with both versions including silicone tongues. I'm just half w…...

[1] As the year comes to an end, anybody and everybody are posting their best of the year lists. Most of these lists contain variations of the same 15 or 20 films. To break the mold, some are even posting lists of the best films of the year that you probably haven't seen. I find that even these lists are filled with the same movies. And if you're a film geek reading a site like /Film, chances are you know about most of the movies on these lists. I wanted to do something different and compile a list of the best films of the year that you've never heard of. The selections should be movies that (for the most part) none of your family or friends have heard of, and you might even have to do some extra legwork to get your hands on. It is not an easy task. Even though we...

Only two more days until Freddy Krueger returns to a theater near you! While we've already shown you a couple of different "clear" looks at Jackie Earle Haley as the new Dream Demon, the following image is hands down the cleanest look at the disfigured slasher to date. Jackie Earle Haley, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Rooney Mara, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy, Clancy Brown, Connie Britton all star. Directed by Sam Bayer, A Nightmare On Elm Street is a remake of Wes Craven's classic from 1984 that follows a group of suburban teenagers share one common bond: they are all being stalked by Freddy Krueger, a horribly disfigured killer who hunts them in their dreams.

With the remake of Wes Craven’s classic “A Nightmare on Elm Street” looming on the horizon, it comes as absolutely no surprise that a documentary about the beloved franchise is scheduled for release next week. “Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy” is a painstakingly in-depth look at the series, and features a metric ton of interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and rare photos to satisfy even the hardest of Fred-Heads. Being as huge fan of the films, I’m surprised, not to mention a little embarrassed, to be arriving late to the proverbial nightmare. I will hang my head in shame as soon as I can find the time to do so. Promise! Here’s a complete synopsis for the uninitiated: Murderer. Dream Demon. The bastard son of a hundred maniacs. Any way you slice it, there can be only one man, one monster who epitomizes those words: Freddy Kruger.

If you remember the disturbing PR leading up to the release of Pandorum last year, then you’ll remember this, it’s the motion poster for the film. What’s a motion poster? Pretty much what it sounds like, a moving poster, complete with sound. Why am I bringing this up? You read the headline right? Platinum Dunes have released a new motion poster for A Nightmare on Elm Street.
The thing is, where Pandorum’s motion poster was clearly disturbing, the new addition for A Nightmare on Elm Street is more, well, cool. Does this mean that Freddy has lost his effect? Probably not, but it does raise some personal concerns that the film may not push any new boundaries. Freddy Krueger is one of my all-time favourite horror icons, and I’d hate to think they’ve resurrected the Dream Demon for simply more of the same. I...

It’s a bit late but to finally end my Halloween champion Slasher report on who is the king out of Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger, I have watched the entire back catalogue of their films and given a run down on each characters franchise story and best kills.
Part 1 was on Jason, Part 2 was Michael Myers and finally Part 3 is on the killing Dream Demon Freddy Krueger.
Set on Elm Street, Freddy is the reason I struggled to sleep through the late 80’s due to being terrified of him visiting me in my dreams.
Beware pictures of blood, a lot of gushing blood and other violent deaths.
And so a little rhyme to begin this story:
One, two, Freddy’s coming for you.
Three, Four, Better Lock your door.
Five, Six, grab your Crucifix.
Seven, Eight, Gonna stay up late.
Nine, Ten, Never sleep again.
The brilliant...
