3.17 Sins Of The Father

The Enterprise crew welcomes the arrival of Commander Kurn, a Klingon Officer who is replacing Riker for a while as part of the office exchange program seen in last season's A Matter Of Honour. He immediately takes his role very seriously, imposing discipline and order by shouting a lot, and insulting Wesley, much in the same way Picard did before he went soft.

Despite this harsh attitude, Kurn deliberately goes easy on Worf, giving him sarcastically exaggerated praise, addressing him like a child, and making fun of his diet. Worf eventually snaps and attempts to fight Kurn, which causes him to reveal the truth: he's actually Worf's younger brother! What a twist! A twist with no foreshadowing!

The 11th Commandment Heads For TV
It takes a lot of work......
Former politician and long-time potboiler novelist Jeffrey Archer might not be the world’s most literary scribbler, but he certainly seems to attract plenty of attention for film and TV types looking to shove his work on both the big and small screens. Hot on the heels of Bourne producer Frank Marshall signing on to develop his book A Matter of Honour as a movie comes word that The Walking Dead’s Gale Anne Hurd wants to turn another of his tomes, The Eleventh Commandment, into a TV series. The novel, originally published in 1998, follows what happens when ace CIA assassin Connor Fitzgerald is framed for a fake assassination attempt on a Russian presidential candidate. Fitzgerald must race to prove his innocence and also prevent World War III.“Jeffrey Archer’s storytelling is compelling, character driven and perfect for television-full of fast-paced, high-stakes danger,” Hurd said in a statement picked up by Deadline.

New Franchise Media Believes In "A Matter Of Honour"
According to reports, producer Frank Marshall ("The Bourne Legacy") is partnering with Toronto's New Franchise Media to develop author Jeffrey Archer’s 1986 novel "A Matter of Honour" as an action thriller.

"...'Adam Scott' listens to the reading of his father's will, aware that the financial benefit can only be pitiful. 'The Colonel', after all, had nothing to leave - except a letter he had never opened himself, a letter Adam fears can only bring further disgrace to the family name.

"But the moment Adam opens the yellowing envelope, he sets into motion a deadly chain of events that threatens to shake the very foundations of the free world. Within days, his lover is murdered and he's running for his life through the great cities of Europe, pursued not only by the Kgb, but by the CIA and his own countrymen as well.

"Their common intent is to kill him before the truth comes out.

Jeffrey Archer’s novel A Matter Of Honour to become a movie
It takes a lot of work......
Former British politician Jeffrey Archer could be the new Robert Ludlum if producer Frank Marshall has his way: he’s developing a movie version of Archer’s novel A Matter Of Honour. The tale was written in 1986 but set 20 years earlier, and it follows Adam Scott, a man who goes on the run from the Kgb and the CIA after receiving a Pandora’s Box of a letter from his military father. Scott appears in a follow-up novel, Honour Among Thieves, which is also expected to be brought to the big screen. Marshall, who has produced...
