Although there are many similarities between "Natural Woman" the Carole King Autobiography, and the movie Grace of my Heart, it is claimed that no such comparison should be made. If one purchases the book however, the similarities are rather spooky.
Although for licensing, Grace of My Heart is considered a work of fiction, the image of Carole King cannot be removed from the movie goer's mind. The music and characters of a specific era and place are reflected with such precise detail, that one would have to be 10 years old, or lived in a jail cell for the last 50 years not to be able to place them all. And they are all here, from Carole King herself, to Gerry Goffin, Surfboards and even John Tuturro's stint as an amazing Phil Spectre character. Although they may not have worked together, all were part and parcel of the time and event that we call Rock & Roll.
