Bruce Campbell credited as playing...
Hank Cooper
- Jim Douglas: [Talking about Herbie] Well he uh... He becomes like his owner, and helps them get what they need.
- Alex Davis: So...
- [Turns attention towards Hank]
- Alex Davis: It wasn't Herbie that whipped out to that secluded spot, locked the doors and all that, it was you, trying to get me alone!
- Hank Cooper: Me? No... It was the car...
- Jim Douglas: [laughing] Herbie did that to me too. It's how I met my wife.
- [after Horace has fired a laser through Herbie; the car begins to creak and bend]
- Hank Cooper: This is about to get interesting.
- [the good guys have just spun out with a flat tire with no full spare and are questioning whether they should get back into the race]
- Hank Cooper: Whaddya say, Herb? In or out?
- [Herbie beeps in the affirmative]
- Hank Cooper: I'd say we're in!
- Roddy Martel: Yeah, but the spare's still flat.
- Hank Cooper: Yeah... and it's a good thing you're an artist.
- [cut to Roddy filling up the spare with his paint spray cans]
