Plot holes
All of the money was in Sam's account and with Suzie supposedly being dead, there is no way her name would have been on it. It was a numbered account which anyone could access. She had Sam's Lawyer get her the money (less his fee).

Continuity

Sam writes the words "Sex Crimes" on the chalkboard, but the next shot has it written in smaller letters. The number of underlines also changes. Actually there are four different layouts of this text between cuts.
After Kelly scratches Ray Duquette on his left cheek, Ray shot himself with a pistol from the gun cabinet in Kelly's family home. The scratch from Kelly can be seen on the left side of his face. But after that, it disappears.
During the courtroom scene, Kelly's makeup was heavy, including dark eyebrows and heavy lipstick. A few moments later, when they are leaving the courthouse, her makeup is light - almost invisible.
Suzie's teeth fly across the screen as a bottle is seen about to whack her. Post-conclusion scenes show a different version of what happened.
In the bedroom, Sam opens the right-hand door of the closet, and then the left-hand door, but the next shot shows the left-hand door still closed.

Factual errors

It would have been pretty obvious to police investigating the shooting of Kelly that she had been lying on her back on the sofa when she was shot, and therefore Duquette's explanation that he shot her in self defense was untrue."
The teeth the detectives find are baby teeth. No roots.
In the final scene of the movie when Daphne is talking to Walter (the alligator handler), he is hooking up the trailer to the truck and he doesn't secure the ball mechanism to the truck at all, only the safety chains. He then shakes the truck for assurance, Walter enters the truck and drives off. In reality, the trailer would almost immediately remove itself from the ball.

Revealing mistakes

In the court room scene a male extra gives the thumbs up sign to the panning camera.

Miscellaneous

When Kelly is shooting Skeet, there is no kick from the shotgun.

Crew or equipment visible

Camera visible in Ray's sunglasses (during interrogation at the pool).

Plot holes

All of the money was in Sam's account and with Suzie supposedly being dead, there is no way her name would have been on it. It was a numbered account which anyone could access. She had Sam's Lawyer get her the money (less his fee).
Since it is revealed that Sam never actually raped Kelly in his house after she washed his jeep and that the accusation was all part of a plot , there was no logical reason for Kelly to run out of Sam's house crying as though something traumatic had occurred when there was nobody there to witness her distress when she came out.

Character error

When Lombardo talks to Art Maddox about his fishing photograph, Lombardo tells Maddox that the fish in the photo is a barracuda and that it is "poisonous and it'll kill you." However, barracudas aren't poisonous, and don't kill people.
