  • Warning: Spoilers
It's a very good movie directed by Arnaldo Jabor, this is one the best works of this very good director. The movie is about the relationship of a young couple, Fernanda Torres and Tales Panchacon. They argue its relation in wild, insane way and some times brutal. The movie change flavor drama to comedy without lost anything. But the comedy in this movie it's something cynical and bittersweet. Fernanda Torres works very well and has a very good chemistry with Tales character. Despite sometimes the movies sounds like crazy, wild and nonsense, in the end everything makes sense. After all, everything is about human relationship that frequently is wild and nonsense.
  • The cast was a great job, the photograph is beautiful. All the credits go to Jabor. He gave soul to this movie about love and another things...

It is a profound, amazing and in the same time deeply emotional movie. It involves just two characters, but the dialogs are so vivid and have a power of expression that moves you. It also has a bitter sweet humor. The actors perform beautifully. The feelings expressed are universal, but the way of expressing them bears a Brazilian style, that it creates a particular sort of mood. It is not a movie that suits everyone, but I liked it very much and I would surely like to see it again. It is also subtly psychological. It makes you feel and think a little after having been seeing it. Anyway, in the end it is all just about love, pure love.

Just brilliant! It´s an excellent picture directed by Arnaldo Jabor, who is a fabulous filmaker and journalist. The actors were just fine, specially Fernanda Torres. It´s a true, clear and sometimes very surreal film, which makes it fantastic.
  • I've read the positive reviews posted before mine, but all I can take from this movie is a headache...a ton of pretentious and long-winded dialogue is all you get in nearly two hours of this movie. The cinematic techniques of the filmed video and off-color lighting are interesting and the attempt at creating different psychic spaces with these effects is noble, but in the end the movie is just two people going on and on and on, when in reality one would have just screamed "Get lost!" and left.
