A main character dies near the beginning of the film while driving on an icy road late at night. The accident itself is not seen, so there's no blood or gore to worry about, but when the windshield wipers stop working, we do hear a crash right before the scene blacks out. There is also some suspenseful music playing in the background.
Charlie's hockey coach is a little overzealous and sometimes yells at the kids.
