In 1956, Golden Press published "The Walt Disney Story of Our Friend the Atom" by Dr. Haber, incorporating artwork developed for the show. A paperback version was published by Dell Publishing for an older market.
ABC originally broadcast this episode in black and white.
Disney had originally planned a show entitled "Adam to Atom" on the subject of atomic energy. That show was canceled, though some of the material was incorporated into this show.
