The "Shakespeare" performance is interrupted by planted hecklers, an odd notion which appears to perturb the screaming fans who believe that the hecklers are criticising their beloved Beatles.
The Beatles' songs were pre-recorded at IBC Studios nine days before the show. They lip-synced and mimed their performances. For "Love Me Do", John Lennon does not have a harmonica so he pretends to play one by putting his hands over his mouth.
The scene which opens this show features the Beatles performing the "rude mechanicals" rendition of "Pyramus and Thisbe" that comes near the end of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream."
