Violence & Gore

There are battle sequences throughout the movie between a group of demonic humans and the main character which are all violent. *The main character and his dog are attacked by a group of demonic humans and dogs, all of them are very aggressive, and the dog is bitten by a demonic dog which has a virus. The main character is booby-trapped; he escapes, but accidentally stabs himself in the leg while doing so. *The main character kills his dog after he discovers that it has been infected with a virus from the diseased dogs. *A helicopter is blown up while airborne; a bridge collapses during a frantic time where numerous people are trying to escape New York City, the main setting for the movie.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

There is a scene where the main character takes a glass bottle away from a house which is presumed to be wine, but he never drinks it. No illegal drug use in the film, but syringes and prescriptions are shown and/or used.
Rats and diseased humans are used for laboratory tests in the film where they receive vaccines which may cure a debilitating virus. The rats show up toward the beginning of the film, and a diseased human is tested with a vaccine during the middle of the film.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

The scenes of demonic/diseased humans in battle are intense, especially toward the end of the movie where the main character's house is attacked.
The main character's occupation was as a military virologist, and he captures a diseased human for tests. While the human is tested, she acts very violently and aggressively, but is chained.
