  • Documentary on the 1976 tour of wonderful musicians Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa, Maria Bethânia and Caetano Veloso singing together. A great part of it is composed by their musical concerts, which are obvioulsy excellent and had a strong African-Brazilian element. In the other parts, perhaps the most interesting moment was the absurd trial of Gil because the police searched and found three marijuana cigarettes inside his room. It was military dictatorship, lawyers and judge used all the jargon and formality as expected, but Gil showed a subtle expression of mockery while in the court. I may also say that the stupid guy who interviewed Bethânia is possibly the worst journalist in the world ever.
