The only reason that you're conscious right now is because I don't want to carry you.
Many times in the series, the next episode starts at a point where not enough time has passed for something to have happened. For example, when Kim and her boyfriend are arrested by one cop and are have to lie down on the ground with their hands behind their head and then we see the clock beep for the usual 3 seconds into the next hour. Then the next episode begins, with several cops arrived at the scene, Kim being questioned by officers, sitting down, wearing a blanket. All of this could have not have happened in just 3 seconds. This happens several times throughout the series.
For some of the narrated introductions, Kiefer Sutherland adds "My name is Jack Bauer and (today/this) the longest day of my life."
UK version of episode 2.6 was edited to remove some dialogue about a terrorist recruitment center. Original dialogue is: "You ever hear of the Finsbury Park mosque? It's considered to be one of the main recruitment centers for Islamic terrorists in the west. Our main targets are European Muslims with Western education, passports and the potential to blend into Western society. And do you know, where that mosque is located? Your hometown, London. So tell me Reza, how is my racial profiling going now?" This was changed to: "Our main targets are European Muslims with Western education, passports and the potential to blend into Western society. So tell me Reza, how is my racial profiling going now?"
