E! Mysteries & Scandals: Maria Montez (2001)
Maria Ciaccia (film historian), Vivian Perez (author), Peter Rubie (author), Margarita Vicens de Morales (author), Tom Zimmerman (author), Turhan Bey (actor) and Linda Christian (friend) are on hand to discuss the life and bizarre death of Maria Montez, the actress known as The Queen of Technicolor.
Montez isn't that well-known today but back in the day she was one of the most popular actresses in movies. This documentary talks about the various lawsuits she had against producers in Hollywood and we get a lot of details about her bizarre death. There are conspiracy theories about what really happened to her and we get some debates on that. The authors all do a nice job talking about her career in Hollywood and the friends give some good insight on why they think she either did or didn't want to die.
