As a lover of Egyptian history and lore, this was a visual feast of knowledge, theories, and eye candy. If you have even a mild interest in those ancient peoples, this will wow you in ways you never imagined.

While this endeavor does not exactly reveal any earth-shattering secrets from the African sands, it will surely enlighten and educate even the most avid lover of Ancient Egypt lands and ways.

I can't say enough about this documentary. Everyone in my house was completely thrilled with this DVD.

2 discs, Approx 200 minutes PLUS supplements.

What a way to teach and learn. Peter Woodward, with that modulated voice, can make even a most uneventful dig seem exciting. History Channel did a superb job! This series is well worth the hours to view. Extremely interesting.
