I love to watch the Weather Channel. I want to be a meteorologist and I always watch the Weather Channel. I watch Evening Edition before I go to bed. It is great with the Weather trivia and The Weather Notebook. I also watch it to see the Weather tomorrow and the rest of the week. I also enjoy watching Your Weather Today in the morning while getting ready for school.
If anybody hasn't heard, John Hope died today and I just want to thank him for all that he's helped us and other people go through Hurricanes. My heart goes out to all his family, friends, and people who worked with him. At least he lived a full life. I hope someday to have as much knowledge about Weather as he did. He was there when the wrath of Hugo hit South Carolina. He was there when the perilous Hurricane Andrew hit South Florida. He was there when the huge, ominous Hurricane Floyd Grazed the coast. I and many others are sad to see him go.
John Hope was born in May of 1919 and served in the army in the early 40's. Then he was in the National Hurricane Center in Miami, FL and became the director. Then he was on the Weather Channel when it began.
Well John Hope, we will miss you.
