- Balasaheb finds that his wife Asha is seriously ill.Upon his return from abroad Asha passes away in front of him.But few days later cops get hold of a Dacoit gang where the female member claims to be Asha.
- "Balasaheb Panse is married to a lovely woman named Aasha. Aasha falls ill when Balasaheb is abroad, prompting him to return. But he returns only to see Aasha dying, resulting in him going in a state of depression. He even builds a statue in her memory. Some time later, a criminal named Nisha, who is the wife of dacoit Bandya Navale, gets arrested along with her gang. But to everybody's astonishment, she claims that she is the dead Aasha. But after some time a court room drama ensues. Balasaheb goes to see her and finds that Nisha indeed looks like Aasha, but he is unable to believe her. Nisha tells him all the things only Aasha could have known. Nisha's claims seem to be genuine, until Balasaheb asks her about a diary of Aasha, which is missing. Nisha is unable to find the diary, whose location was known only to her and Balasaheb. Fully convinced that Aasha is indeed dead and Nisha is an impostor, Balasaheb has her convicted.
