This short was the first time in my life I had the chance to see something directed by Ralph Bakshi (Back then I had no idea he directed this).
I remember being weirded out by the surreal animation style and seemingly nonsensical plot; preferring to watch stuff like Dexter's Laboratory or Johnny Bravo.
Rewatching it nowadays I appreciate it much more, but to me this seems clearly aimed at adults instead of kids, with jokes about suicide and suggestive situations.
But then again, kids' TV shows from the 90s were able to get away with lots of stuff (Just see The Ren & Stimpy Show or Rocko's Modern Life.)
The setting and characters depicted here wouldn't be out of place in the Cool World movie.
