  • Snobbish Srividya tries to be the perfect wife to her rich husband Madhu and her 5 year old daughter. She is very status conscious . Madhu has a visiting friend Sukumaran who is not very well off. Madhu gives him a job in his factory . Srividya is very unhappy with him mingling among them and leaves no opportunity unturned to belittle him any time any place. Sukumaran , though aware of this , tries to side line this to please his friend and guide.

Sukumaran takes Madhu to his family friend's house . Their daughter Seema is very simple and domestic .She too gets a job in his office as his steno.

As both keep meeting , Madhu's liking and admiration increases towards her as he is vexed with his cold and aloof wife . Unknown to Madhu, Sukumaran himself has a tender heart for Seema but keeps it under wraps .

A lot of twists takes place between Madhu Sukumaran and Seema as each one is innocent of the feelings of the other .

When Srividya comes to know about this , she chides Sukumaran again saying you introduced Seema to my husband knowingly . Sukumaran tries to mend fences. Angry Srividya gets into an accident when she tries to drive rashly . This gives a chance for Madhu to start spending time with her .Both see each others' qualities and unite again . Sukumaran and Seema unite .

A fine family movie . Srividya needs no introduction here . She is perfect as the snootish wife . The small dialogue between Seema and Srividya is of special mention when she tires to speak sense to Seema who is ignorant of the fact that Madhu is married. All are victims of circumstances .
