This contains quite an ingenious little plot, the scenario being written by Calder Johnstone. Murdock MacQuarrie plays the part of an old man with a telescope, through which he allows people to look at the heavens for five cents. The telescope sets the house on fire. A pretty love affair is thrown in. The character of the old man is new and appealing, and the story is pleasing. - The Moving Picture World, November 7, 1914
