Exclusive: Italian box office smash Quo Vado? has been sold to UK, Germany and Spain among other markets.

Taodue has scored key deals on its box office sensation Quo Vado?, the second-highest grossing film of all time in Italy.

Deals to close prior to and during the Efm include Germany and Austria (Weltkino), Spain (A Contracorriente Films), UK (Vue Cinemas), Portugal (Outsider Films/A Contracorriente Films), Greece (Spentzos Films), Russia (Cinema Prestige) and Australia and New Zealand (Palace Films). A deal for Latin America and Middle East with Italia Film and additional deals are also in the works.

Italian comedian Checco Zalone stars in writer-director Gennaro Nunviante’s Quo Vado?, about a middle-aged Italian slacker who goes to any lengths to hold onto his 9 to 5 government job.

The Taodue-produced comedy is second only to Avatar at the Italian box office, having taken $70.8m and overtaking previous Zalone and Taodue collaboration Sole A Catinelle ($56.3m).

Every year, we here at Sound On Sight celebrate the month of October with 31 Days of Horror; and every year, I update the list of my favourite horror films ever made. Last year, I released a list that included 150 picks. This year, I’ll be upgrading the list, making minor alterations, changing the rankings, adding new entries, and possibly removing a few titles. I’ve also decided to publish each post backwards this time for one reason: the new additions appear lower on my list, whereas my top 50 haven’t changed much, except for maybe in ranking. Woody Allen’s next film, heretofore known as ‘Nero Fiddled’, was officially re-titled yesterday and given a new name that should see it resonate better in its international territories, and so from here on out we’ll know it as ‘To Rome With Love’.

We now have the first eleven images to share with you, some images of the film itself and others including Allen on set, as well as the full cast line-up (which is excellent) and the full soundtrack details (which are just a little bit impeccable).

The romantic-comedy is made up of four vignettes, two of which revolving around American characters and two around Italian characters, with the main cast including the likes of Allen himself, Alec Baldwin, Penélope Cruz, Ellen Page, Jesse Eisenberg, Roberto Benigni, Judy Davis, Greta Gerwig, and Alison Pill.

The newly re-titled To Rome With Love will open in Italy on 20th April...

Sergio Stivaletti was one of the many guests at the Weekend of Horrors event in Los Angeles. I had the fortunate chance to sit down with Italy's FX vet to discuss his career as well as the future. Our full interview is arriving in a future edition of Choice Cuts , but I thought I'd pull this snippet in which he talks about a sequel to Michele Soavi's Cemetery Man . It was revealed at the start of the year that Soavi was scripting a new chapter in the life of Francesco Dellamorte. And since Stivaletti was responsible for the FX on the first film, we knew he might have a sequel progress report for us.

The 2011 summer blockbuster movie season is packed with comic book adaptations: Thor, X-Men: First Class, Priest, Captain America: The First Avenger, and Green Lantern. However, in a film-scape loaded with familiar comic properties, a lesser-known hero has already hit the big screen this summer: paranormal investigator Dylan Dog. Dylan Dog: Dead of Night isn’t the first cinematic interpretation of the Dylan Dog universe. In 1994 director Michele Soavi filmed Dellamorte Dellamore starring Rupert Everett as Francesco Dellamorte (a side character in the Italian comic series) who dressed in the iconic Dylan Dog outfit – though the titular lead never appeared in the film. The movie received mostly negative reviews in the U.S. and abroad.

One of the coolest and somewhat unknown foreign films from 1994 titled Cemetery Man might be getting its long awaited sequel. The part zombie, part supernatural, all insane horror film starring a young Rupert Everett is considered a cult classic and definitely one to check out if you haven't seen it yet.

According to Fangoria, Luigi Cozzi stated that he recently heard from the Cemetery Man writer-director Michele Soavi. According to Cozzi, "Michele has told me that he has started to write the script for a special horror project he plans to shoot between the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012: a sequel to his Gothic masterpiece Dellamorte Dellamore, a.k.a. Cemetery Man. He's going to produce it himself and wants it to really be a great, strong, shocking Italian horror movie."

It would be sweet to see Everett resume his role as the cemetery caretaker Francesco Dellamorte.

There are a few cult movies that should be viewed by any true genre fan, and Dellamorte Dellamore (aka Cemetery Man) is on that list. At least for anyone interested in zombies, Euro weirdness, and the spectacular nakedness of Anna Falchi. Every October we here at GeekTyrant try to do something fun for the Halloween season. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, it’s just a fun season of the year, and I love horror movies! Our first year we focused on Italian Horror films, the next year we focused on the classic Universal Horror Monster movies, This year we are going to put a focus on Zombies! Why?
