Program presents Abraham Lincoln, the most photographed politician of his day, as a highly image conscious politician. His image helped propel him to the presidency. Did it prevent him from openly revealing his true feelings about slavery and racism? And do the photographs known to every American reflect Lincoln's true likeness or do two recently revealed photos better reflect his appearance?
