Ken: [Giving Andy's toys a tour of the daycare, Ken passes his dollhouse] And this... well, this is where I live. It's got a disco, it's got a dune buggy, and a whole room just for trying on clothes.
Barbie: [gasps] You have everything!
Ken: Everything... except someone to share it with...
[he walks away]
Barbie: [sighs lovingly]

Chunk: [Buzz has just successfully made it to the window over the Caterpillar Room door, at sunset, and now he hears two voices approaching in the hallway below] Heh, heh heh heh... You think they had a fun playtime?
Twitch: Shh! They might hear you!
[Buzz hears giggling to his left and looks over to another doorway where Barbie and Ken are talking to each other]
Ken: Okay, now you start.
Barbie: I...
Ken: love...
Barbie: you! Oh!
Ken: See? That time I said "love"! Okay, now me first.
[Buzz gives them a strange look]
Barbie: [overlapping] Ooh! Okay okay okay...
Ken: I...
Barbie: love...
Ken: you! You see what I mean? It changes every time!
Barbie: [laughing] You are so smart!
[Twitch and Chunk pass them]
Twitch: [grabbing Ken's collar] C'mon, Romeo. We're late.

Woody: Day care is a sad lonely place for washed-up old toys who have no owners.
Barbie: ... WAAAAGH!
Hamm the Piggy Bank: Quite the charmer, aren't ya?

[Barbie is tearing up Ken's outfits to get him to reveal information, whilst he's tied up to a paddle ball]
Barbie: Let's see... Hawaiian surf trunks!
[she rips them in half]
Ken: Barbie, those were vintage! It's okay! Go ahead, rip 'em! They're a dime a dozen!
Barbie: Ooh! Glitter tux!
[she rips it in half]
Ken: Who cares? Who cares? Sequins are tacky!
Barbie: A Nehru jacket!
Ken: Barbie! Not the Nehru!
Barbie: This is from, what? 1967?
Ken: The Groovy Formal Collection, yes!
Barbie: What a shame.
[Barbie makes little tears in the jacket. The stitches separate before Ken's eyes]
Ken: Oh, no! No! No, no, no! There's an instruction manual!
[the paddle ball he's tie to falls to the floor]
Ken: Lotso switched Buzz to Demo Mode!
Barbie: Where's that manual?

Ken: Barbie, come with me! Live in my Dream House! I know it's crazy! I know we've just met! Aw, heck - you don't know me from GI Joe. But when I look at you I feel like we were...
Ken, Barbie: ...made for each other.
Ken, Barbie: [gasp]
[Jessie and Mrs. Potato Head encourage Barbie to accept his offer]
Barbie: Yay!

Jessie: [to Lotso] This isn't a family! It's a prison! You're a liar and a bully and I'd rather rot in this dumpster than join any family of yours!
Barbie: Jessie's right! Authority should derive from the consent of the governed, not from the threat of force!

Ken: [getting ready to show Barbie an outfit] Ready?
Barbie: Ready.
Ken: [jumps out in a karate outfit and does some karate moves while yelling. He stops and sees that Barbie is gone] Uh, Barbie?
[Barbie pounces on him from behind, pins him down then turns his head to face her]
Barbie: No more games, Ken! What did Lotso do to Buzz, and how do we switch him back?
Ken: You can't make me talk! You can't!
[Barbie glares at him, even gritting her teeth]
Ken: But I'd like to see you try.

Barbie: Ken! Ken?
[Ken walks over to Barbie's cubby where he finds her sobbing]
Ken: What do you want?
Barbie: I can't take it here, Ken. I wanna go to the Butterfly Room. With you!
Ken: Yeah, well, you should've have thought of that yesterday.
Barbie: I was wrong. I wanna be with you, Ken, I do. In your Dream House.
[sobbing]
Barbie: Please take me away from this! Take me away!
Ken: Darn it, Barbie! Okay, but things are complicated around here. You gotta do what I say.
Barbie: I will, Ken. I promise.

[Ken and Barbie arrive in the Dream House via lift]
Ken: And this is where the magic happens.
[He turns on the light revealing dozens of outfits]
Barbie: [gasps] Look at all of your clothes! I can't believe you never brought me up here! Tennis whites? Mission to Mars!
Ken: I know, I know, I know. Check this out! Kung fu fighting. Campus hero with matching sports pennant, huh?
Barbie: [gasps] Flower power! Oh, Ken!
Ken: [sighs] No one appreciates clothes here, Barbie. No one.
Barbie: Ken, would you model a few outfits for me? Just a few.
