There is fighting in the turn based battles with the players fighting with swords, spears, bow and arrows, and magic spells against monsters.

In the SNES game The Golden fly boss uses the word "Damn." before dying. This was one of the words that got past the Nintendo Censorship. The word "Damn" was also used in the Gameboy advance remake.

In the Wii U console version. The word "Damn" has been censored with the word "Darn" instead.
