Lee Mercer
- Little Tony Papazian: [into a phone] What the hell do I pay you for? I want my limo here now, and my bail put up!
- Lee Mercer: [into a phone] I'm afraid that's not possible, Mr. Papazian.
- Little Tony Papazian: What? What are you telling me?
- Lee Mercer: You shot up a precinct and attempted to murder a police officer... in full view of witnesses. We can't risk that kind of exposure.
- Little Tony Papazian: You're the ones that set this thing up!
- Lee Mercer: We opened a door for you. The point was for you to walk through it... not blast your way out. The senior partners here at Wolfram & Hart have felt that you've become a liability. We can't waste valuable energy on you when there are more pressing issues at hand.
- Little Tony Papazian: Pressing issues? What pressing issues?
- [Lee is shown to be watching a survelence video of Angel at the police station stopping Papazian from the previous night]
- Lee Mercer: You're on your own, Mr. Papazian. Find another lawyer and work out a plea deal. Your business relationship with me and Wolfram & Hart is terminated... as is this phone call.
- [hangs up]
- Little Tony Papazian: [also hangs up] Damn!
- Lee Mercer: Mr. Papazian is a very important client at Wolfram & Hart. Any further violations of his rights and there *will* be serious repercussions.
- Detective Kate Lockley: And what exactly the hell does that mean?
- Lee Mercer: It means that we will open this case to the court of public opinion. It means that we'll shine *light* into the darkest corners of this precinct and give the people a clear view of the brutality and callousness of this police force that will make Mark Fuhrman look like Gentle Ben.
- Little Tony Papazian: Everybody should have a lawyer like this one.
