'Time Out of Joint' was the memorable Clock King episode; the one in which he literally slows down time around him. To a kid that age, that was a great sci-fi lure.
But that gimmick is really all this has. Clock King is just not a very good character, here again gunning for Mayor Hill, and it really just amounts to a generic episode. Everything I know and love about The Animated Series is diluted here in favor of something aimed squarely at children.
Nothing wrong with that really, but upon adult reappraisal, it's definitely one of the also-rans.
