Steve Williams as Wanda's uptight and opinionated dad steals the show in this episode. He and his wife have come to visit Bernie and family, and end up babysitting the kids while Bernie and Wanda steal away for a romantic night. Grandpa figures he can handle these kids, but quickly finds out they are far more than he can handle. One of the tricks with episodes featuring Williams is to have him taken down a peg one way or another without completely losing face. He and Bernie always find a way to remain friends, more or less. You may remember Williams in much younger days for some decent B-level action flicks. He has settled nicely into senior citizen roles.
