I love this episode so much! It&#39;s definitely one of my all-time favorite episode. It&#39;s so good and such a good idea. I can&#39;t express how much I love it. It&#39;s just so good. I love the actresses who play the Blonde Ones, I thought they did very well in this episode. In this episode, three sister witches, Mable, Mitsy and Margo come up with a plan to take over The Charmed Ones lives. They cast a spell that makes the world believe that they are intact, The Charmed Ones. This leaves Piper, Paige and Phoebe, out in the cold with no IDs, no money, and no one who would believe their story. Along with getting their identities, The Blonde Ones also get their powers. Well, Mable and Misty do. Mable is the oldest and takes on the role of Piper and gets her powers of freezing and blowing stuff up. Mitsy, the middle sister, takes the identity of Phoebe and gets her powers of premonition, empathy and levitation. Margo, the youngest gets Paige&#39;s identity but not her powers, because they come from her white-lighter side, not her witch side. This makes Margo very upset. After being hurt, Paige, Piper and Phoebe retreat to a hotel and try to think of a way to get Chris to see that The Blonde Ones aren&#39;t them. Whilst Mitsy is on a date with Jason, Phoebe punches her in the face and gives her a premonition, to lead them to the Manor. Once there, they call Chris and try to prove to him that they&#39;re them. Paige tries to orb to prove it&#39;s her, but Margo casted an anti-orb spell, so she can&#39;t. Mable tries to blow them up, and she misses. When has Piper ever missed? Never, that&#39;s when. Eventually, Chris believes them and the sisters get their identities and their powers back. Since The Blonde Ones had murdered someone, they went to jail. And if that doesn&#39;t stick, they&#39;re wanted in eight other states. They asked Chris how he knew that they were them, and he said &quot;In my whole life, I&#39;ve never seen you take the bait, like those girls took it&quot;, they say, &quot;Your whole life? You&#39;ve only known us a couple of months&quot;. This is a wink wink to the future knowledge. The fact that Chris is really Piper and Leo&#39;s son. Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10.

The Power of Three Blondes

The episode doesn&#39;t particularly stand out, even though it creates an interesting situation, with evil witches who, instead of destroying the sisters, decide to BE them... and succeed. The whole comedy rests on the fact that the Stillman sisters are written as caricatures : they&#39;re evil, stupid, superficial bimbos who are way too fond of sex, slutty clothes, money and themselves. The problem, though, is that they don&#39;t do anything beyond impersonate the Halliwells, so the plot is more or less limited to the caricature. Heavy comedy may be entertaining but it doesn&#39;t hold interest for long. Nevertheless, the fake sisters actually get the real ones to reconsider their present situations. Paige keeps complaining about having to help people with magic, but her fake alter ego, by trying to stain her image, actually helps all the workers more than she ever did. As for Phoebe, having to tidy up after Mitzy forces her to articulate her confusion about her complicated office romance. And by foisting Wyatt on Leo, Mabel helps Piper realise that she can&#39;t let her status as a single mother keep her from getting a life of her own -or keep Leo from his own son. (By the way, Wyatt and Leo are so cute together !). Anyway, by next episode, Piper will be dating again -trying to, at least. And of course the conclusion of the episode is brilliant : Chris may be busted with Leo, but he also gets a &quot;get out of jail&quot; card because after all, he has saved the day. The scene where he splits the fake sisters apart is great. And knowing Chris&#39;s big secret, I think that kissing Mitzy must have taken him a great leap of faith (or rather, a leap of disbelief). Actually, the first time I watched season 6, I kept wondering how a normal 22-year-old guy (who clearly hadn&#39;t sworn an oath of chastity) could live in the same house with three beautiful and powerful women without being the least attracted to them. Now, in retrospect, I have to laugh at the panicked look on his face when Margo and Mitzy start coming on to him. And just imagine the confusion if Mabel (as Piper) had done the same !

The power of three blondes is the worst episode Brad Kern ever produced in my opinion and I&#39;m surprised he allowed his stamp on. I guess he wanted to do an attempt at comedy here, but the chances he had to do so passed making it feel disjointed and ruff around the edges. Jenny McCarthy can act yet this is the stereotype valley girl she should avoid since it could easily over shadow her character. Poor Leo and Chris feel forced into this script that I rather they hadn&#39;t even shown up on the set. The only part that&#39;s even enjoyable should&#39;ve been the Gremlins bringing life and fun to a bland script. In fact I would&#39;ve loved it more had It centered sole around the little dudes about their origin and what they are capable of based on legend.

Charmed had some really good episodes and some bad ones. This episode is so bad it&#39;s literally scraping the bottom of the barrel. Do yourself a favor and skip this one (you&#39;ll be wishing you had if you don&#39;t).

Like a lot of shows, Charmed has plaguerized before but honestly -- this one takes the cake! Wondered where you&#39;ve heard of the Sanderson sisters before? Hocus Pocus, featuring Winifred, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson, released in July of &#39;93, 10 years before this episode. They weren&#39;t even original enough to use the names of the three real life witches that the Sanderson sisters were based upon: Sarah Cloyce, Rebecca Nurse, and Mary Easty who were executed in the Salem Witch Trials in September of 1692 for witchcraft. You have to wonder where the heads of the writers are when they barely give a mention to the sisters, discounting them as a minor annoyance in the Book of Shadows, not worthy of a vanquish, considering that the real life sisters were accused of witchcraft including using witchcraft of the 8-year old child, Emily Binx, on October 31, 1693. Using a bit of historical trivia might have gone a long way towards making this episode a bit less of a clunker.

Oh wow this episode was something.... I have to admit I did get a kick out of this episode. The three blondes were highly entertaining for the most part. I&#39;m going to give them some credit and say they&#39;re acting choices were &quot;choices&quot; and they just decided to lean into the stereotypes they were being asked too portray. They&#39;re trashy portrayal and look is most definitely down to the writers and the behind the scenes folks which is unfortunate as this again had potential had it been comedy been written better. The fake Phoebe going down on Jason in the restaurant really was a bit too much. Had they cut out out the gross tacky vibe of the three blondes and just leaned into the comical aspect this episode could have been at least funny but instead it was cringy and silly but not in an enjoyable way. The sisters were an uneven balance again this episode. Phoebe is still very inconsistent with empathy power and it seems more like a plot device rather than character development. I&#39;m beginning to enjoy Paige and her temp job arc as it does feel genuine for her character in trying to find an identity outside of the charmed ones. Plus I liked how they had to call on the gremlin creatures to help them out. I kind of enjoy the reoccurring magical creatures that became a part of Charmed from S5 onwards. Overall this was a very disappointing episode that had potential to be either comedy gold or some proper dramatic stuff with actual stakes, perhaps even a decent stroy arc or formidable big bad, but instead we fot this. Three evil sister witches who were able to steal not only the charmed ones identitys but also their powers had the potential to be something more than a silly throw away episode.
