The first episode of the regular series of Diagnosis Murder.
A priest is threatened by a mysterious man. Later the priest runs him over.
However the man is not dead so the priest goes to the hospital but he first bumps into Dr Mark Sloan.
Diagnosis Murder is lighthearted fun, even camp. It is very had to take this episode seriously.
The first episode has Robert Guillaume playing the errant Father Morrissey. Sylvia Sidney plays an elderly confused patient who is eventually used to trap the priest.
It is not a whodunnit as we know what happened. There is also a sense of fun, the curmudgeonly hospital administrator goes to confession and ends up complaining about Dr Sloan to Dr Sloan who is trapped in the confessional.
