- Hudson: What's all the commotion then?
- Brooklyn: Talon needs our help. Let's go!
- Hudson: I thought you didn't want to lead us, lad.
- Brooklyn: This has nothing to do with what *I* want. You'd better come along this time, Hudson. We'll need all the help we can get.
- Hudson: Is that an order?
- Brooklyn: Yeah, I guess it is.
- Lexington: Do you think Elisa's with Goliath and Bronx?
- Hudson: Good question. Here's another: what do we do now?
- [Everyone turns to Brooklyn]
- Brooklyn: Why are you looking at me?
- Hudson: Because Goliath chose you to lead the clan should something happen to him. And I'd say disappearing without a trace qualifies as "something."
- Brooklyn: He'll be back! He has to.
- Broadway: Yeah. But what if he doesn't?
- Broadway: [Bluestone opens the curtains and sees Broadway. Bluestone gives a startled yell] Hiya Matt.
- Matt Bluestone: I'm *still* not used to you guys!
- David Xanatos: [after Owen hits Talon with his stone fist] I see you've managed to incorporate your handicap quite nicely, Owen.
- Owen Burnett: Thank you, sir.
- David Xanatos: Goliath... missing?
- Owen Burnett: An intriguing development.
- Brooklyn: [sarcastically] Perfect.
- David Xanatos: [as Talon is about to fly off] Talon, I promise you. I will utilize all my resources to help track down Goliath and Elisa.
- Talon: We don't want any help from *you*!
- [Talon flies away]
- David Xanatos: [With a sinister smile] I wasn't aware I needed permission.
- Hudson: So what are you going to do now lad?
- Brooklyn: I'll lead the best I can. But that doesn't mean we give up hope or the search. We'll find them. I *swear* to it!
- Talon: Agreed. But our main responsibility is to protect those who are *still* here.
- Brooklyn: Yeah. That's what Goliath and Elisa would want.
