New Elements of the Story
Tonto, himself a loner, swears to assist our hero. It's too bad that he couldn't have mastered the first person pronoun, but I suppose there were still those who wanted to show him as a step below our hero (Clayton Moore's character spoke beautifully). Still, Jay Silverheels has ani elegance that makes him quite remarkable. Also, think of a Native American having second billing at this historical period. We are also introduced to Silver who has been attacked a buffalo (does anyone wonder how this relatively slow moving creature could harm such a graceful horse). Silver begins to take a prominent role. We are made aware that the twosome, along with an old friend have rich mine and will never want for money necessary to do their jobs. An, once again, enter the Cavendish gang, running rampant over a town, killing all the important people. The third episode will bring us into the weekly with the Cavendish gang being the objects.
