  Officer Ed Laughlin : How's the case going?

  Det. John Clark, Jr. : What is it, Laughlin?

  Officer Ed Laughlin : Well, word is it's not going so well.

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : What do you want?

  Officer Ed Laughlin : I've been talking to some of the guys, and everybody's saying you're not looking to jam us up 'cause the girl was a little young. That was my concern.

  Officer Ed Laughlin : I just don't want to look uncooperative and buy trouble for something other guys are skating on.

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : Get on it.

  Officer Ed Laughlin : She had a guy who was bothering her.

  Det. John Clark, Jr. : What does that mean?

  Officer Ed Laughlin : Harassing her and then one time, he followed her home.

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : What's the guy's name?

  Officer Ed Laughlin : She said it once. I don't remember it.

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : So you never looked into it?

  Officer Ed Laughlin : What am I gonna do? Muscle the guy in an alley? And then if the guy finds out that I got a relationship with the girl and complains to the job, I'm screwed!

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : [disgusted]  You are something else!

  Det. John Clark, Jr. : Where was she seeing this guy to get get harassed?

  Officer Ed Laughlin : Some market she passed on her way to school.

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : Which is where?

  Officer Ed Laughlin : In the neighborhood. Some bodega.

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : Was this guy's name Craig? Maybe Craig Roll?

  Officer Ed Laughlin : Yeah, that sounds right. That was it.

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : [as Clark and Sipowicz rush out of the coffee room]  Dumb son of a bitch!

  Det. John Clark, Jr. : [to Medavoy who's just come into the squad room]  Hey! Is Craig Roll out of the building yet?

  Det. Greg Medavoy : He just took off in his car.

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : Unbelievable! We got an address on him?

  Det. Greg Medavoy : [looking through his notebook]  Yeah. 9th Street. It's in my notes.

  Officer Ed Laughlin : What's going on?

  Det. Andy Sipowicz : [snatches Medavoy's notebook from him]  You're an asshole! And your timing sucks!
