During the episode, Worf states that the Defiant will be unable to raise her shields when deploying the mines. During the battle, three Jem'Hadar ships attack the Defiant, and the vessel's shields are clearly visible.
In the middle of of heated battle and evacuation the dominion is very generous to allow Sisko the time to make a farewell speech. Apparently one that is being broadcast. Even on the bridge of the defiant the crew stops everything to watch. How are they escaping anyway. Is not the station surrounded by dominion ships.
The Dominion ships are shown flying between and through Deep Space Nine's rings during attack runs, yet on other occasions, the station's shields form around the entirety of the station. The Dominion fighters would have to fly through the shields in order to perform the maneuvers seen, but dialogue indicates that the stations shields have not yet been breached.
The Defiant and Rotarra cloak while flying through a hale of Dominion fire. Cloaking requires them to drop their shields, which would be a massive risk in that situation. No commander would cloak their ship while under fire.
A stock shot of the Defiant is used during the battle, so the ship appears to be moving calmly through empty space, even though there is a massive battle raging around it and the ship is said to be under constant attack from Dominion attack wings. There is also no sign of the mine field the Defiant crew is desperately trying to complete, even though the mine field is visible in other shots.
When a photon torpedo impacts one of the lead Dominion cruisers, the cruiser continues onward but the explosion remains fixed, moving along the image of the ship without doing any further damage, indicating improper tracking of the explosion effect on the model shot.
When the Defiant and the Rotarran join the mixed Klingon/Federation fleet, several Galaxy-class vessels, being the most notorious among others, have no registry number or identification at all. Also, there are three small ships that would appear to be Defiant-class, although the Defiant itself was said to be the only one in service.
Both of the two Galaxy-class ships seen at the end of the episode have the registry number NCC-1701-D on the bottom of the saucer section.
The "minefield" is laid out in a linear format, so even when cloaked, the mines would be easy to detect. Minefields are generally laid out randomly, so the position of one mine does not give away the position of others.
If the replicating function was designed to overcome this, the mines did not need to be cloaked at all.

The Rotarran beats the Dominion and Cardassian fleet back to the station by several minutes and is ordered to take a defensive position near the Defiant to protect it while it finishes laying the minefield. The battle rages for quite some time and the Defiant is attacked several times before the Rotarran de-cloaks and engages the Jem'Hadar fighters.
All Bajoran personnel are ordered to evacuate the station. Rom, despite being a Ferengi, is part of the Bajoran engineering staff, yet no mention is made of him leaving or refusing an order to leave (other than in the context of being Leeta's husband).
