After an off-duty run-in with sadistic drug smuggler Anthony Corrido (Christopher Lloyd) leaves him injured and his partner dead, hotshot motorcycle cop Jess Mach (Rex Smith) finds himself reassigned to a boring desk job. So when federal agent Norman Tuttle (Joe Regalbuto) offers Mach a chance to test a top secret government motorcycle, code named: Street Hawk, he jumps at the chance to get back in action - and to solve the mystery behind his partner's murder.
Hounded and pursued by the media and his own department, Mach races through the steets of Los Angles, hot on the trail of the murderer. Initially clashing with his new, uptight partner, Mach gradually forms a bond with Tuttle and the two men work together to bring Corrido to justice.
