Slade returns and forces Raven to admit her role in the coming apocalypse to her friends.

Since the events of Birthmark, Robin has been determined to learn about that mysterious symbol that has appeared on Birthmark, Robin claims that the same insignia was the first clue regarding Raven, and Robin promises to learn the truth about that symbol. Raven sees a vision where she sees an isle of the same insignia where she hears Slade remind her that time is running out to tell the other titans the truth about her vision and what her vision was about, to make matters worse, we hear the same dark voice mentioning that whatever she has concealed, she will become. Raven denies that she will not let it happen, however, Slade interrupts and tells the truth about Raven's destiny, a dark voice harasses Raven and she is shocked that the portal must be opened. Raven sees the same symbol that was in her vision, and Robin asks if she is having luck finding the insignia, Raven lies to Robin, with Robin fulfilling understanding of why Slade scared Raven. Starfire misunderstands the symbol that Robin is aware of Raven is emotionally disturbed until Starfire reveals that the symbol that was to her confusion was Tamaran, Beast Boy mentions that he accidentally revealed a symbol regarding Starfire's confusion where it was tofu calzone, where it was the same symbol that was on Slade's forehead ending Starfire's confusion. A similar symbol reveals that Slade was an abandoned part of the city where he claims that he enjoys his job. Before Slade can release another fire blow, Cyborg blasts Slade's hand to get his attention and Slade ends the conversation continuing to burn the abandoned part of the city, Robin insists that the Titans split up and defeat Slade. Robin attacks Slade first because he wants to learn about the symbol from Birthmark and the pyrokinesis. Slade points to his forehead about the symbol where he mentions that it is The Mark Of Skath, Robin is determined to know what Slade is planning, and Slade corrects Robin's statement, that Slade's providing a public service through illumination until he was attacked by Starfire to where he successfully dodges Starfire's attacks, jumps on a wrecking ball hurting Starfire, Beast Boy as a distraction maneuver to Cyborg's attack until Slade destroys a building where Beast Boy and Cyborg allowing Slade to escape until he was in Raven's sight. Raven asks about Slade's intentions to Slade's reply is that he is going to tell the truth by burning the buildings, Slade threatens to tell Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, and Beast Boy the truth if Raven refuses to tell the truth about Raven's future, Raven coldly mentions to keep the rest of the titans away from the truth being shown in Birthmark. Slade, mentions that he was not responsible for Raven's dishonesty and that it happened when Raven met the Titans, Slade reminds Raven that time is running out, to which forces Slade to escape to Raven's shock. Robin makes contact with the rest of the Titans cutting to Cyborg Beast Boy hearing Robin and having no sight of him, Starfire reveals that she sees the rest of the Titans and the same symbol that was from Raven's vision.

Robin reveals that everything was destroyed except for an abandoned library revealed by Cyborg and in Beast Boy's opinion, it looked like a dump kicking a pillar accidentally revealing an entrance, revealing the Mark Of Skath to where Robin reveals to Raven the name of the symbol. Raven is scared about entering the old library, however, plans to take the chance, through Starfire's strength to open the doors to the library, Beast Boy claims that he is not digging the library, to Robin's annoyance they run into a dead end, Raven is determined to return to the tower until the Mark Of Skath revealed a chamber rattling Beast Boy until he mentioned that a secret passage accidentally revealed by Raven, asking Cyborg to go first, revealing under the library sub-basement there are old skeletons, Raven walks cautiously until she accidentally revealed the runes from Birthmark to her horror she runs from the basement, Robin runs after her asking about her welfare, Raven lies to Robin again about what she is hiding and the real reason why she was afraid of the library, and presumably teleports back to the tower to Robin's concern. Cyborg, Starfire, and Beast Boy hear the same recording where Starfire reveals that it is a prophecy and Cyborg learns that it is not good, Beast Boy does not know that Slade is into a darker plot until Robin corrects Beast Boy saying that it is not Slade until Starfire claims that it is Skath. Robin kicks a wall with the Mark Of Skath engraved within the wall, to Starfire's curiosity, she asks about Raven and Robin says that Raven is not coming, Raven shows determination about her way of ending her prophecy to a portal taking her in. We see the rest of the Titans wanting to learn about how deep the basement is until Beast Boy spits down to Cyborg's, Starfire's, and Robin's disgust until Cyborg can enhance the hearing about the depth of the basement for the library, revealing that it's far, Robin is willing to bet that the gem is in the basement of the library. Raven is on the flight to another dimension to where we see spirits leaving forcing Raven to speed up, until she is shocked to see fire ready to singe her. Robin and the rest of the titans hear ghosts, whereas Beast Boy and Starfire are horrified to hear them. Robin tries to attack a ghost, but he can't hurt them, however, one of them can attack Cyborg, to where Cyborg can aim his sonic cannon at one of them, also able to save Robin, as much to him not paying attention to his horror, he scratches and uses his sonic cannon accidentally making the journey to the unknown room harder for the rest of the titans. Robin gets an idea, of where both Beast Boy and Starfire fly after Robin, and to Cyborg, he reveals to Robin that they can't fly. Cyborg remembers the horror by looking at the ghosts that rattled him earlier, allowing him to fall with the rest of the titans Robin and Cyborg successfully evade the attacks, Cyborg hoping that it will be over until Robin uses a grappling hook to spot the symbol allowing him to move the entrance, Robin mentions that he found another passage and instructs the rest of the titans to follow him to where Beast Boy followed, Starfire throwing Cyborg and allowing her to go in. Robin throws a projectile to where it was a flash-bang, cutting to Beast Boy wanting to know where to go until Robin mentions to follow the same symbol, Beast Boy finds a hallway without a mark, Robin mentions Beast Boy to find a hallway to where Beast Boy not paying attention, Robin finds the Raven engraved in a hallway, telling the other titans to follow him closing the door to the chamber, Raven is at the portal to where she wants to be let in. Starfire reveals that she can't exit the chamber with Cyborg on her side until Beast Boy and Robin are in the basement of the library, Beast Boy looks at the similarity to where Starfire understands that it was Raven, but to Robin's disappointment the gem was gone and to make matters worse, Slade was present to where Robin wanting to know the location of the gem to where Slade was hinting that the gem is possibly someone the titans know and plan to attack the titans before the introduction to the truth. Raven finally makes it to her home world where it tends to be her last resort.

Slade starts his attack with Cyborg, and Robin attacks Slade that he is not leaving without that gem, Slade mentions that he is not leaving until Starfire attacks him by throwing him to a statue and burying him, until it is a trap for Starfire allowing Slade to attack Starfire and finish his attack on her before Cyborg attacked him allowing Beast Boy to be a triceratops rushing to defeat Slade until Slade was able to attack Beast Boy to Cyborg being off-guard, before Robin was able to attack Slade, he revealed a reason why he liked his job. Raven roams around Azarath until she sees doves revealing to be her mother she reveals that she Raven had a home, and help that she was not able to give, Raven reveals that her prophecy is happening until her mother reveals the birth of Raven was forcing Raven to not want to believe her mother until she confirmed that she was afraid of her prophecy, Arella revealed that she had the love of Azarath, even accepting her identity, Arella reveals that it was too late for Earth just like Azarath has met it destruction to Raven's horror, Arella was a ghost, to when we hear the same dark voice make a sinister laugh about the destruction on Azarath. Slade is restraining the Titans to where he is ready to destroy them until Raven forcefully smashes a pillar to Slade revealing that she wants to settle a score with him saying that she wanted the Titans to not be involved until she intimidated him about what Slade's intentions are and learning the truth about her master. Cyborg asks if Raven is the gem until Robin mentions that Raven is the gem, while Slade is trying to escape, she grabs Slade by revealing that she has a message to Slade's master, by throwing him around, she comes to make a round two to Slade making sure that she can fully restrain him until she was able to destroy him until the rest of the Titans were able to be covering their eyes until Raven reveals to Slade that she is not afraid of him anymore until Slade points out to the fact that the rest of the titans are shocked to see Raven defeat Slade before he escaped. Beast Boy asks about Raven until Raven tells the truth about why the Mark Of Skath is being used to cover up the identity of the dark voice revealing it to be Trigon, Cyborg is shocked about the season antagonist and Starfire reveals that Trigon's cruelty is legendary on Tamaran, Beast Boy asks about the runes on Raven revealing that it symbolizes that Trigon can get into the Earth is through Raven. Robin asks why is Raven being targeted, Raven reveals that Trigon is Raven's father shocking Robin, Starfire, and Cyborg, Raven blames herself for bad things happening and she mentions that she tried to stop her prophecy. Starfire comforts Raven for confiding in the Titans they are very humble, Cyborg asks about how to stop Trigon cutting to Raven saying that no one can until Beast Boy mentions that the Titans can try to where the sunrises. Slade is in another dimension talking to the same dark voice that the prophecy has been revealed and that Raven accepts her fate, the dark voice claims to return what Slade has lost if he agrees to please him, and Slade fulfills his promise until the symbol glows ending the episode.
