- Sick of arrogant Steven's eternal smug comments on their relationship troubles, Eric convinces Fez it would be a good burn to get Hyde hooked up. This way Eric could make fun of Hyde instead. They throw a party with eligible girls from which Hyde is supposed to pick his true love. Even Kitty pitches in by offering to host the party in the basement, as she believes Hyde needs a woman to help him find his way. Each person is supposed to bring at least 2 girls to the party, but no more than 5. Red objects to hosting all the parties in his basement. He says that if the kids puke in the streets, the city has to clean it up. But the three losers (Eric, Fez and Jackie) only attract rejects such as Big Rhonda (Cynthia LaMontagne).
The girls are a weird bunch. One is a catholic fanatic, one used to date Hyde's father, one is a cheerleader, one only dates guys who are less pretty than her, one's boyfriend is in jail and she is attracted to emotionally crippled guys, a bird-brain who can't even remember if she wants or refuses smokers, one has a wooden leg, one is scared all the time for no reason. Hyde is angry to find out that the party has been hosted to make sure that he hooks up with a girl. Donna introduces Hyde to her friend Melissa (Reagan Gomez-Preston) and he takes an instant liking to her. He asks her out eventually. Fez is in love with big Rhonda and decides to move to Mississippi with her for the summer. Red pulls him back. Red says that if the girl outweighs a man by more than 30 pounds, he is in trouble. He also tells Fez never to mix alcohol and women.
Meanwhile Eric uses his sob story of a breakup to appear all sensitive to pretty girls at the party and put his head in their laps and stuff. Donna fights them off by telling them that Eric dumped her.
Steven intends to play the field with Melissa but he is whipped with her and asks her out for a date. Jackie feels insecure without a sycophantic lover at the party as there are way too many girls and she can't even smell her own perfume, so she rushes off to her babe-magnet Kelso.
Donna's radio station is giving a van to whomever can keep his hand on it the longest. Each contestant has to keep one hand on the van, and if they remove the hand for any reason, they are out. The last person to have their hand on the van, wins it. Michael is determined to do better than first drop-out Bob. Daniel (French Stewart) pretends to hit at Donna, which makes Bob charge at him. Kelso needs a place to "do-it" with Jackie. Daniel (French Stewart) 'the winner' (Daniel has won every WFPP radio contest since 1972 and is super confident that he will win this van too) turns it into a battle of wits, tricking people by working on their emotions, and in Kelso's case his fluid retention stamina. Daniel tricks Kelso into drinking too many coffees. Jackie irritates the heck out of Daniel with her "am i the prettiest talk" and Daniel runs away, leaving Kelso to be the winner.
