I discovered this TV series - Tightrope - only a couple of days ago. I knew mike Connors only in Mannix TV series. Not this one. I admit that I fell literally in love with this show. Noir atmosphere, wonderful score, tight, sharp, fast paced stories which make you stuck, glued to what you watch. No problem. And the opening sequences of each episode is worth watching too, with Connors with his gun in his back...
Well, this very episode, directed by the TV vet Irving J Moore, is about a gambling house, and also gangster - Eduardo Cianelli - who usually traps rich female gamblers, with astounding debts, by killing their closest parents, so that the young women may get the dol, big dol. Connors, plays the undercover cop who finally stops the criminals.
This may seem usual, it is, but believe me, it's really worth the watch.
