Excellent program last night on "Without ATrace." Good work.

I would like to comment on an episode of "Without A Trace" which I viewed last evening, October 4th, 2006.I never saw this episode "A Day in the Life" and was used to the regular format of the show. It took me a little while to "catch on" that this episode was from the parents view. Wow! So well done! The acting,Laurie Metcalf, who played Susan Hopkins, what a great actress - so realistic and her actor/husband. The son was well cast, too. I've got to say, it's one of the best shows I've ever seen on television.I think Jerry Bruckheimer wrote it; the man must be near creative genius, no kidding. If this isn't quality television, I don't know what is. Emily Bonette - Palm Desert, CA.92261

I agree - wonderful TV

United States television really seems to be very much at the top of its game these days and this episode of "wihout a trace" was compelling watching - we watched it last night on UK cable Virgin on-demand TV. In this particular episode, the unique approach - seen from the parents' point of view - was totally realistic and one with which any parent can fully sympathise. The characters in the series are both believable and interesting. The themes chosen are very varied and at times unexpected. No doubt access to the NY FBI office helps considerably with the plots. We Can't wait for the next series to appear. We also like criminal minds and CSI here in Wales so keep 'em coming please guys!

Best episode I've seen so far

Wow! I've just seen this episode 12 years after it aired and I cannot give it enough praise! From the parents of a missing 15 year old, you witness the entire process of locating a minor when "foul play" is suspected. What you also get to grasp is just how much of the daily life of a teenager parents are unaware of! It's actually this last point that is the scariest, the fact that your kids could be doing drugs, gambling, fighting and engaging in criminal behavior under your roof! These are good people and terrific parents, so they falsely assume that their kid is a saint, and when they find out that he may not be truly innocent, they break down, turn on each other and fight! Which is a totally normal response, by the way. I found this episode very realistic and insightful and I wish there could be more like this on TV right now...
