- Velma Dinkley: Hey, Shaggy and Scooby. I know you two are excited about the big video game convention. But did you really have to dress up?
- [Shaggy and Scooby are in the backseat of the Mystery Machine in costume; Shaggy is dressed in a robotic suit reminiscent of RoboCop and Scooby is dressed as a martial arts instructor]

- [Velma exists the virtual reality game and catches up with the rest of the gang; Shaggy and Scooby are carrying souvenirs and refreshments and the former offers her some food]

- Velma: [chuckles] No, thanks. I'm good.
- Fred: You've been gone for a while.
- Daphne: Yeah, where were you?

- [three zoned out teenagers from the virtual mystery appear before Velma]
