- In the old American West, a group of Texas Rangers is ambushed by outlaw Butch Cavendish and his gang who attempt to assassinate them. Tonto, an Indian, comes upon the scene of the massacre and finds one of the Rangers still alive, and recognizes him as a man who once saved his life. He rescues the wounded Ranger, whom he calls "Kemo sabay," and restores him to health. The masked "Lone Ranger" and Tonto track down and battle the Cavendish gang and subsequently dedicate their lives to championing the oppressed. A re-presentation of content from the first three episodes of the Lone Ranger TV series, with linking narration by Richard Hill Wilkinson.
