FX has released the first official trailer for the third and final season of its comedy “Reservation Dogs,” which will premiere on August 2.

The series follows the stories of Elora Danan (Devery Jacobs), Bear Smallhill (D’Pharaoh Woon-a-Tai), Willie Jack (Paulina Alexis) and Cheese (Lane Factor), four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma. Following the death of their dear friend Daniel, the Reservation Dogs “took to stealing, scheming and saving in order to fulfill his dream of getting to California.” The group embarks on a wild journey of self-discovery, rumors, revenge and healing.

The critically acclaimed series has accumulated honors as an AFI Television Program of the Year while winning two Independent Spirit Awards, a Gotham Award and Peabody Award.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Hines Ward is joining the Turner family, as a regular contributor on Hln’s “Morning Express With Robin Meade” and an analyst across all CNN platforms. “I’m really excited. CNN isn’t the only place Jeff Zucker is looking to make changes, it seems. Sister network Hln could be getting at least one new show from the new regime, I’ve learned. Coming off a ratings and viewership surge from the Jodi Arias trial, the network is looking to hold on to some of those numbers with a possible replacement for its 5-7 Pm show Evening Express. Last week, Hln shot a newsmagazine pilot in Atlanta going by the working title of Exp 2.0. Weekend Express’ Natasha Curry, Atlanta traffic reporter Elle Duncan, and Carlos Diaz, the sports anchor on the network’s Morning Express With Robin Meade, hosted.
