  • Tyler (Jesse Phillips) and Hank (Kristian Bruun) are two deadbeat thirty-somethings who are jobless and like it that way. Now, two troubles appear in their lives. First, they are about to be evicted from their apartment, no surprise there, as rent money is hard to come by with no jobs. Second, the only place where they enjoy themselves is a nearby bar but, O Canada, some young, yuppie types have been frequenting the place. This upsets both T and H and the others very much, as they "just can't get along". Desperate for this last bit of their "turf" and needing a place to live, H & T challenge the younger types to an air hockey tournament at the bar. If T and H win, they not only get to "rule the pub" and dictate who drinks there, they get a new apartment. A third sticky wicket appears when the Yups try for Tyler's girlfriend, too. Who will be victorious in the end? This is quite a "dumb and dumber" type film, made on a slim budget, from Canada. It has some good lines, on rare occasions, but plenty of weak and objectionable material, too. Nor are the cast members a particular asset. There is also what might be called, some awful bathroom type humor which will offend just about all viewers. Nevertheless, for those who enjoy more "manly" types of lowbrow, gross-out comedy, the film might be a better watch than something from the Infomercial Channel.
