  • Fine plot twists highlight this Wicked Pictures thriller vehicle, written by and starring Stormy Daniels. Michael Raven directs capably for one of his best collaborations with the star.

Her screenplay follows the time-honored "Gaslight" mode, as she plays Randy Spears' troubled wife, who is seeing a shrink due to her paranoia "I'm being watched" but is clearly the victim of someone trying to drive her crazy. Before you can say "Charles Boyer", the viewer is aware that Randy is the prime suspect.

Avena Lee as her best friend teams up with Stormy to try and find out what's up, and that element of two strong women gives the story line freshness. Strong sex scenes involving the beautiful Stormy, as well as Avena, servant Kirsten Price and Courtney Cummz lead to solid plot twists in the final reels. The ultimate finish to the story is a surprise ending, quite well telegraphed early on, but still surprising in its detail.

While one could quibble about several loose ends in the script, the feature overall is both suspenseful and engrossing, a definite must-see among Stormy movies.

NOTE: IMDb lists Barrett Blade in the cast but he isn't, merely confusing the movie "Watching Samantha" with the DVD containing it, as the DVD is also possessing an archive scene separately featuring Stormy & Blade in a previous feature, as Wicked's usual cross-plugging via excerpting content as a "Bonus".
