This episode begins at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a military installation; rather, it is a private, member-owned facility. Hence, neither Army CID nor NCIS would have initial jurisdiction - which would, in fact, fall to Arlington PD.
The convenience store clerk gives Gibbs a surveillance tape and tells them the man they're looking for bought ring dings. Gibbs gives the tape to McGee and says "ID on anyone buying a Slurpee". When Gibbs goes to Abby, she asks him "Have you any idea how many ring dings are sold each day in your average convenience store?".
A sign on a wall of the NCIS headquarters refers to an event in "Norolk".
The TV news shows a fire in "Roslyn". The correct spelling is "Rosslyn".
When Tony is at Golf course he asks Ziva is there anything he missed and she says Gibbs is about to meet his 4th ex wife. This is an error by writers as in fact it would be potentially his 5th wife as Gibbs had already been married 4 times.
The badge LTC Mann flashes to the store clerk, is an NCIS badge, not an Army CID badge.
About 3/4 of the way through, Tony visits Josh after finding out he isn't going to Princeton. Josh turns the volume down on the stereo, but he turns the knob clockwise. The shot is obviously backwards since the markings on the stereo are all backwards.
The gang trace the bomb to the Georgetown waterfront by looking at a map. The map shows Half St. SW, and the area around present-day Nationals Park, which is nowhere near the suspected bomb location.
The mention of Gibbs meeting his 4th ex-wife is correct, as despite the fact he has already been married 4 times, he had actually only been divorced 3 times.
Lt. Colonel Mann is wearing a Marksmanship skill badge on her Class A uniform. US Army Officers do not wear skill badges, only enlisted.
Note: While its true officers don't wear the Marksmanship skill badge, it is inaccurate to say they don't wear any skill badges. Officers are allowed to, and frequently do wear certain types of skills badges like the Expert Infantryman badge, Combat Infantryman badge, Army Aviator & Army Flight Surgeon badges, Parachutist badge (which Mann also wore) and Diver & Special Operations Diver badges.
