  • Also Brooke Shields didn't say hi to him. Granted she might not of seen him because he's so short and she is so tall but if she did see him and chose not to say hi then she is in fact a horrible person.
  • If this would have just had an asian flavor, it would have been a hit!
  • Feel like this show would've been a hit had there been a cute little asian character. An actor like bobby lee would have been perfect.
  • Was missing a character that could've made this one a hit. Bobby Lee would've played that character and this movie would've won an Oscar or Emmy or whatever the F. Dueces, I'm out.
  • This show tanked quickly without Bobby Lee. The show runners really fumbled the bag here. The Cullen brothers are know or they're okay materiel but y'all should have know better than to pick Brooke shields are the star instead of Bobby Lee lmao. Hopefully you learn from your mistakes and don't pretend like you know what is talent and what is actually acting because clearly you don't. Obviously the show went absolutely nowhere and that is in no small part to your feeble minds thinking that you can oust Bobby out. The Cullen brothers suck and you can clearly tell by their discography that I'm right. Your best film was cop out?

IN CONCLUSION Mark and Robb Cullen are no talent wannabes. Not even has-beens.
  • Here is the plain text version of my review:

New Car Smell is a comedy pilot that aired on Fox in 2005, directed by David Schwimmer and written by Mark and Robb Cullen. The premise is simple: a Las Vegas car dealership contest pits an eclectic group of salespeople against each other to see who will become team sales leader. The cast includes Dave Attell, Dana Daurey, Laura Ford, Brent Huff, Marshall Manesh, Christopher McDonald, Matthew Parrott, Brooke Shields, Victor Togunde, Edo Walker and David Walton.

Sounds promising, right? Well, not really. The show is a mess of clichés, stereotypes and unfunny jokes. The characters are one-dimensional and annoying, the plot is predictable and boring, and the humor is crude and offensive. The show tries to be edgy and irreverent, but it ends up being cringeworthy and tasteless.

The worst part of the show is Brooke Shields, who plays April, the bossy and manipulative manager of the dealership. She is supposed to be the antagonist of the show, but she is so over-the-top and unrealistic that she becomes a parody of herself. She is constantly yelling, scheming and insulting everyone around her, without any redeeming qualities or motivations. She is not funny, she is not likable, she is not even interesting. She is just annoying.

The only saving grace of the show is Bobby Lee, who plays a cameo role as a customer who wants to buy a car. He is hilarious and charming, and he steals every scene he is in. He brings some much-needed energy and charisma to the show, and he makes the other actors look like amateurs. He is the only reason I watched the show until the end.

But where is Bobby Lee? He only appears in one scene in the beginning of the show, and then he disappears. He never comes back, he never buys a car, he never interacts with anyone else. He is wasted in this show. He deserves better. He deserves his own show.

New Car Smell is a terrible show that should never have been made. It is a waste of time, money and talent. It is not worth watching, even for Bobby Lee fans. It is a shame that this show was ever aired on TV. It should have been left in the trash bin where it belongs.

I give New Car Smell a rating of 1 out of 10 stars. Do yourself a favor and avoid this show at all costs. You will thank me later.
  • Needed more Bobby lee idk why but this show would of been a hit if it had more Bobby lee in it
